Can someone please tell the rules of this system to trade and also share the template file.
I see different ppl using different rules ... pls someone can tell in detail what are the actual rules of the system so that i can follow the actual rule by the author only......will be really thankful if anyone can write the entry and exit rules using this strategy in point wise and easy to understand...

Hello alij79

To trade the way the expert traders do on this thread there is no real short cut. You will have to read the thread over and over again, then just practise.
The template is within the 1st 10 pages.

I am just a newbie like you to this system, but the reason I never went long Gu was because there seemed a lot of resistance at 1.6 everytime price hit that level.I am always wary of trading into a RN.

Reading the later posts could lead to confusion, with many other slants on the strategy added in by experienced users and charts posted on other tf's, sometimes without reference to TDI, which is integral to the basic set up.

Whilst I am sure that other traders have found adding their own experiences and methodoligy into the strategy works for them, the limited time I have been following this method tells me sticking to the basic rules on a 15m tf works just fine.

For now i'm doing only basic set ups, with trend, as set out in the first few posts.

Hello everyone,

decided to show you my trade today... Couple days ago Gibril explained me how we need to monitor bigger TF and why we need to monitor it (you can find it in old posts)... In any case to pull the trigger you need to monitor lower TF
I'am newbie, but always trying to read and understand, looks like it starts to bring me some pips
My daily target is 10 pips, but it looks that I could take much more

I had the same problem as you but I found this. Click on paperclip top RH, attachment window opens, Click on "Hide Images" top LH, click on page 2, scroll down look for "LOVE PIPS.doc" download and read

This should help.

There a re 2 methods being traded in this thread 1 x simple method, 1 x advanced method. Concentrate on the simple method to start with.

Edlich.... i agree with you tht basic rules are mentioned in first few posts, but there is confusion in it too... there are two things mentioned in them:

1. you only short trades while below 200 EMA and the green line cross yellow line (yellow line should be in downward curve) and price close below 10 ema on 15m TF and vice versa for longs
2. while in later post in begining, its again mentioned you only take trade when green line cross red line below yellow line (yellow line shud be curving) for short and vice versa for longs.

so which basic rule do you follow and if im missing anything then pls do tell me.

I took the same trade (HTF confirmation, RN ,200&800 EMA, 4h 10EMA, TDI ouverbought 15min).
Im newbie (a few month in forex), backtesting simple method 15tf and trading on demo.

G/U +24
E/U +17

The short term trading principal of TDI is green crossing red for a scalp, so whilst the basic set up is for green to cross yellow, some traders with experience of TDI takes trades when green crosses red.

I have taken trades on green/red crosses, where other criteria is met, an example would be E/J on the London opening candle today, where PA had rejected the 200EMA and the opening candle was a good bearish candle closing below 10EMA. (I personally didn't take it as yellow TDI looked flat and the actual green/red cross occured 2 candles earlier.)

The better entries, in my view, are where green crosses red and yellow at a point where red and yellow are close together. For example the same opening candle for E/U morning, where green TDI has pulled back from 68, yellow is sloping downward, price has rejected both the 200EMA and a round number and closed below 10EMA. I missed it unfortunately but despite a 10 pip drawdown, could have been good for +30.

I hope my take on this is consistent with the author's !

My EU & EJ trade +15 & +7 total +22 .EJ is a 200ema reject and EU is Pivot play but should have waited for 10ema reject.Still need a lot more practice.Im done for today a bit tired.Trade well my brothers

you are right bro.. so far market is tricky this week.. not giving good setups.. there were some clear setups but during asian session. i also sometimes get frustrated with ranges...

I wanna suggest to new traders that please write your trading plan, write all the rules. and follow them strictly. dnt try to chase the every move of market. just trade what u looks for as per your trading rules. there can be few setups but consistency is more important than pips. when market will have good movement your pips will grow easily.
