DislikedI disagree completely - if you can't trade a demo in the way supertrader9 is attempting to do - you have no basis really trying to trade cash. The mentality is the same. What you need is self assurance that your approach works and it will not matter whether it is cash or demo. I would encourage the approach the young man has adopted.
BTW: That is what I did after losing over $20k cash - went back to demo, treated it like cash and mastered my emotions, techniques and market theory. The idea that demo trading is different than trading cash is cliched...Ignored

I have developed a new system...the main one is still under development...its 'sidekick' was the one i used for the last several trades...its working well i must say..this sidekick has sl and tp to begin with...short term trading does work and is much much profitable than say hourly chart and satisfying should you have the discipline to go with it..but it can be addictive if you have a weak mental strength. There will be many opportunity..trade smaller risk for each trade would be a wise idea.

Would you be so kind and lose a few more words about your strategy? What determines your entry and exit points?
My strategy is going for short term opportunity..so on short term tf i wait for a small price increase/decrease and then i'll go for it..There are lots more to it though. I am trying very hard to trade. Maybe one day i can be a big fund manager

Don’t forget that this is still a demo account. I suggest that you start with real money and start small (i mean really small) and grow from there to master your emotions. If you have not mastered them on demo, well... going live will give you a rude awakening. Scared money is losing money, even if you’re a billionaire on demo. Just sharing my experience.

Yes i will trade a live account when my main system is finished...right now i am still figuring on how to tweak things. This demo is like a practice/training session preparing for the real thing. Thanks oliver!
