This is to show that if you are selective and wait for decent trends you can get 7 wins a month. These are sept trades while not getting involved with news. Theres also 6 days left in the month

Fxpivot, i took the 2nd entry, at my red arrow, was there anything wrong with that, would u take that setup if you had missed your first entry, it worked out well, just want to make sure there is nothing wrong with it?

Fxpivots can you please give some information, suggestions about trade management ?

- when you reach 7 wins in a month do you continue or stop for the month

- position value, 3%, you set of account balance at the beginning of month of each day anew, it concerns compounding

- how many trades max. per day ? if there is a loser ?

hi there mate, just want to clear out with regards trading this method, a noob question you may consider.
1. can we trade this in all sessions or do you prefer to trade just/mostly on NY sessions?
2. can we use this method on different timeframes?
3. do we just have to use M5 chart or can we consider movements and SR/SD on higher timeframes like h1/h4.

question time. ok the princibles are the same with other time frames though you would have to do research for stop and target. There will be less trades though. Heres the thing if something works consistantly with a high win rate and believe me i did the research via back testing then why look elsewhere but thats me. As far as do i stop when i get 7 wins the answer is no if the setup is there i take it.Think of this as 1 beggar telling another beggar where he got his bread. I adjust the acct at end of each month to get my lot size of 3 % based on new amount in acct. As i have said the loses are few and usually the second trade breaks me even from the first loss.If i get a win i am done for the day the least amount of exposure the better hope i answered all the questions just study the charts and duplicate the results when they arise.

I think the challenge is not to make 7 or more wins / month, but not to accompany them with 7 or more losers. I like your approach to call it a day after a first, single winner & I agree that if you have a winning approach why change it.

Nevertheless, I notice that I constantly morph my trading methods, frequently to my disadvantage. I remember banging out $10k / month with H's key to the mint method, but slowly changed it.

Anyway, I've moved towards longer timeframes, but this could be just the ticket for keeping my focus while the longer term trades setup.

I am able to find profitable entries on the historical chart with your method.

But as soon as I enter in live trading, 90 % of my entries end in StopLoss
because the market does not "obey" the patterns you describe.

So for me right now your method is even worse than tossing a coin,
but of course it must be my fault, I am 100 % sure.

I went long up there at 30266 and after a while closed at BE, which bring me to the question.

Was it OK to enter after pullback to 25 level and when do you move your stop level to BE fxpivots ?

Price blew straight through 97, ie. there was no evidence of a reversal.

I have a line from earlier this morning @82, but it barely paused there; might turn up and retest shortly...

Edit : oops, WARNING : mine is a 233 tick chart, not quite the same (the levels are the same, becasue I also reference the M5).
