Was planning to start experimenting Jesse's method with $100 in live account from next week. But because of this shit pa, I also lost on my real account. The seed investment of $14 went beyond $50, but its now at $45. Will need more time before it gets to $100 or $0.00

It finally made a HH. Lowered my sl below 1.2936

Let's wait and see. If we lose, there will be another day. If this trade works, the possible profit may double the initial investment of $10,000

Hit sl. I am wasting money in this uncertain pa. Ony $400 left out of budget set aside for catching a big move. If this doen't work, will have to budget 30% more of the profits for another move. That is too much.

Bloody Jesse made 100% a week in good market. I tried my best to match him, but something is wrong somewhere. I am not complaining about leverage 50:1 is ok.............. or maybe not, but I am comfortable with that.

Next week will try to do better. Got some ideas. I traded first day mostly from my cell phone. That was a very good day and I couldn't achieve similar results after that. I know what were my limitations while trading from cell phone and how they in fact helped me. They were all scalping trades in and out.

You adopted a jesse livermore role, who was supposely a trading legend, and that's cool! I mean, i'm following your thread because you often says things like "Jesse would have thought in this way" and I imagine a little jesse in your shoulder, as the typical topic of angel on one shoulder and the devil on the other, but a little jesse fucking nervous and betting everything on a horse. And then see the current forex market and says "I will kill myself" and bang! his head suddenly explodes hahaha okay! that's enought.


I seriously wish you, with your commitment and our constructive comments (like this one ) to make someting here.

That would be great, especially based on a bet that no one has done, reviving the legendary trading strategy of Jesse Livermore.

I came back here to write something and saw your this post. Thanks for sharing your views.

I recall what happened. I found only one Jesse Livermore set-up during this week. Selected the tp level (1.2936) and entered. But could not trade becuause I wasn't feeling well. Took my cell phone to bed, but didn't feel like trading and rested. Left only one lot open, that also with a shorter tp by mistake.

Now I know what two trading methods to blend and what should be the risk/reward, entry/exit points, how to time trades, etc. Logically it should work, but I cannot say for sure how much it could average. I am looking for crazy returns with proper risk management techniques.

Look at the bottom of Wikipedia page, you will find PDF version of Jesse's books under section heading "Books". I re-read his book How to Trade Stocks and tried to understand his worksheets. Placed few pending orders following his method. Will apply his longer term strategy on pairs other than Euro/usd to see what results they produce in longer-term, i.e. 3 to 4 months.

Jesse Spread Sheet 1

Will be showing my understanding of how Jesse calculated the price levels to enter or exit

This is the first chart.

Note: Jesse used 6 points, I have changed it to 20%. For stocks its 20% of the price, but for currencies it is 20% retracement over last trend.

Spread Sheet 2 and 3

I wasted few more hours on this Jesse spreadsheet shit. I think this should be it. What I figure out from all this is that he marked HHs, HLs, LHs, and LLs until trend changed. So if I am right, what he did on tape reading was not a big deal.
