Hi,

I have close all positions. And disabled the EA from running but the EA is still putting pending orders. Please advise.

One more question. If my NY session opens at local time 8pm, Do i set it in Evening from 20 to Morning 0500 close correctly?

Very interesting EA.

I trade many, many pairs. So I can connect it only one pair or many. But at the same time I can connect the other EA with other pairs and so these two EA works on its own terms.

This EA may give great opportunies. Only what You need is the correct trend.

I have tested now one EA, its ok. Now I will link many EA work with different settings. Ill be back whwn I get some results.

Maby I have wrong time settings. Finland time settigs are ?. Yes I have read all posts. I have tried settings what allows all time trading.

All time trading would be 0 to 12 and 12 to 24.

You want to set these times based on your local time as compared to market hours. Look at bottom of home page here at FF and see what times London and New York trade compared to your local time and then set the hours accordingly.

For example I'm in US central time zone. London opens at 02:00 am and closes at 11:00 am for me. New York opens 7:00am and closes at 4:00 pm. So my settings would be 02 to 12 and 12 to 16

I don't know if this helps but anyway.

I had the same problem when I opened 6 charts and put the EA to all these charts. Even though I disabled the EA via MT4 top bar, some of the EAs may have already started placing orders and once it started it's too late (this is my observation and may not be correct, though).

As there is no guidance provided by the creator, I am guessing (after many trial and errors) that you will only need to place the EA on one chart and that by adding pairs you want to trade via the input parameter window this EA trades such pairs as well. In this way, the trouble you have just experienced may be avoided (again, I am just telling you from my trial/error, but it worked.)

Last night, the EA banked two 110 dollar profits and one 50 dollar profit (closed manually before NY noon). After disabling no further pending orders were placed.

Hello Xin,

I am not sure how you fared today with your 4 pairs. I have been experimenting more broadly with multiple pairs. Friday, it preformed very well. Today, the market stayed somewhat within a wide range for most pairs. This caused me to take an early basket that retraced into a stoploss and then took the opposite basket which also retraced to a slight loss at the end of the NY session.

This gave me an idea. During most of the day, or most of the time in general, the market ranges. We are trying to detect strong moves at the beginning of major market opens such as the London and NY.

Is there a way to reverse the signals - short after an X pip movement up and long after X pip movement down. This would allow us to experiment with retracements. I believe this EA could be allowed to run all market hours, especially on pairs such as the EURGBP and AUDNZD.

I am not sure this would even work. This is just hypothetical. If you would care to send me a modified version of your EA, I would be happy to run it and report the results.

Just place EA in only one chart. If you want to disable EA, just remove the EA from the chart. To reactivate you will need to reload the EA to the chart.

Txs for the guidance. That confirms I am right.

To stop, "Remove the EA from the chart" - yes, that's better perhaps.

One question: Once you input pair names with comma in the parameter window, do you have to open all relevant charts or will the EA work without them, that is, just one chart with EA open and trade all other pairs as well?

just a quick note of thanks for the EA. As you post here more than on SH, just to let you know that after I sorted out the various settings (especially trade time settings), it works like a charm... Last Friday, this Monday, Tuesday positive baskets, 1 close at TP, two closed manually (I would not let this EA run unattended yet (see below), total about 300 pips...

I set my First Order at half the subsequent orders (10/20 pips) and three steps in each direction, target 20 pips per pair, 0.1 standard lot....

Pairs:
AUDUSD,NZDUSD,EURGBP,EURUSD,GBPUSD,USDJPY,
NZDJPY,EURJPY,GBPJPY,AUDJPY,USDCAD,USDCHF

1. The EA definitely benefits from trending markets / sessions - it might be worthwhile to add a 2-tier TMAtrue filter (eg. M15 & H1 greater 0.4 / lower -0.4)

2. It would be nice to have an option to suspend EA after close of basket

3. It would be nice to have option, after close of basket, to remove all remaining (old) pending orders and re-initialize EA based on market price after close of previous basket.

Rising Sun - attach EA to one chart (preferably to GBP/JPY) and EA will open orders for all pairs listed by you under "TradePairs"....

Just run EA on one char, nothing else.

I would set a high MaxdrawnDown to survive ranging market. We need to let Market do its natural thing before it runs again. Once it resumes running we are making green pips again.
