FYI. I am testing this setup to trade moves after big Eco numbers. the settings are a stab in the dark. I will adjust as needed as I view things gong forward.

I'm so confident about the Logic and behaviour of the "Killing Zone" combined with Gadi_OBV that I trade with my eyes only - without the technical and rules of how to draw a "Killing Zone".

Again - DON'T do that unless you experienced a lot of the traditional settings.

From left to right:

1st trade - Divergence - Sell signal - DON'T trade because it's within the "Killing Zone".

2nd trade - Elephant detector breakout - Sell signal - DON'T trade because it's within the "Killing Zone".

3rd trade - Elephant detector breakout - Buy signal - Trade !! we are out of the "Killing Zone".

Looks like the system works...

GG53, you used "Killing Zone" for breaks in both parties though the zone already ended, and another isn't created yet.
Why?

On price graphics you easily determine by "Killing Zone" by height of bars one-two boxes?

i thik he is using the first breakout to update the lower bound and using more than 3 bars to signal end since it m15

You have PM me and ask what did I have done to manage the problems with the "Gadi"-Indi.
Well there is nothing magic as I have only made an MT4-update from version 419 to 432.

Let me think about...
for me is a s/r based on volume once drawn on the chart gives you an idea of the direction of the trend, the in-trend. Thus serves as an interesting target and BO line.
You donīt believe in MAīs or TLīs based on price but based on volume.

It appears from your chart (and i don't think it has been discussed yet) that KZ's should stay on the chart after breakout and if the volume line returns to that area they can still be used to generate trading ideas ect.

After an impulse movement in price, we usually get a retracement and a testing of the initial move. Given that the testing should be on lower volume than the initial move - it appears to me (and it can be seen on many charts) that a pullback of the volume line should most often not come back within the KZ but should bounce off of it. If the line does break back into the KZ we have to be suspicious that the move doesn't have enough volume for the breakout to be sustained.

The question that should be asked regarding post #443 is:
"Hey gg53, how come that you are trading the Asian session while it's not ended?".

I'm trying to avoid trading in Asian session because, by our definitions, it's an area of consolidation most of the time.

BUT, it is a perfectly "legal" to trade it if you consider WHAT you are trading.

The two most important currencies in that session are the AUD & JPY - both the Ausies and the Japanese are in their prime after a good night sleep. It's their time and their "Home" currencies.

...And if you look again - you will notice that I traded the AUDJPY during "Their session".

And that's lead us to the next chapter - WHAT to trade and WHEN to trade it.

I hope that you don't think that lazy gg53 is continuosly scanning currency pairs, without looking for an alternative that will (almost) automaticaly pick that most likely ones to trade.

All about that in the next "chapter".

Thanks for your kind words.
We are still waiting for more coders to assist in building the required indies - either based on the current ones (mod) or new ones so we can all test and compare results.

The AGENDA for this forun clearly states that we all want, as a result, a complete working system, preferably automatic - based on this WORKSHOP.

The current situation of the WORKSHOP looks like this:

and now the eu and gu in action and a lot more of eur pairs, it looks like the euro is strong this morning.
