Hi gg,

Just from my observation. Yellow line represents the the closing price points, which are related to Elephant closing bars on 0 (zero) level. To think about deeper interpretation I have to study more examples.

Still around and learning. The yellow line could be used to trade bounces and breakouts. It may be more effective to trade in the direction of the slope based on the chart you posted

Attached is another example.

If you study the chart carefully, and understand the significat of "revisiting" the Zero line - you will hear the Elephant detector indicator shouting:
"Hey, at this price I'm BUYING".

The only time that the Elephants let the price fall below it is when they went to sleep - Asian session...rrrrr....

My inability to code is frustrating me as I can see the value and potential of this KZ thread. Great work and thanks for sharing. I would really like to clarify a couple of things with mn KillingZone v1.3.1 as well as get your other requests noted in post 351 added into the indicator.

is the breakout of the higher high of yesterday's gadi-obv, i use shorter timeframes, but i lookback longer also.

Good job !!

Perfect example of repeated requests for extra coders.
One of the requested features was to extend the Horizontal Lines by a fraction of percent of the volume.

This feature would have eliminated the draw-down that you suffered on your way up.
It would propably signal to enter only on the third breakout - with green pips all the way.

Why looser?
You should protect your trade after xx pips to BE+1 (move the SL).
It looks like you had plenty of pips to do so...

I think he is referring to the breakout on cable was (my volume = -648). The volume topped out at (-541) initially before going lower. It did this a second time and moved lower before actually moving higher and staying above. See attached. My volume shows top to bottom (-1274 to 523) or 1797. The false breakout was 107 volume (or 6%) so the breakout line was filtered by a % we could possibly filter out the false breakouts.

Unfortunately I am not a coder so I can't help with this one. Sorry G

One of the guidelines in drawing the "Killing Zone" is to draw the line a bit higher than the HH and a bit lower than the LL.

The "a bit" should be an external parameter to user choice - measured as a fraction of percent from the volume value.

yes, you are right. it should be almost a b/e trade but i was sure that this trade was a winner, finally it touch my stop for 2 pips and bounce to touch the target.

as you said " don't trade hopes" i remember that next time.

1st trade - Divergence - Sell signal - DON'T trade because it's within the "Killing Zone".

2nd trade - Elephant detector breakout - Sell signal - DON'T trade because it's within the "Killing Zone".

3rd trade - Elephant detector breakout - Buy signal - Trade !! we are out of the "Killing Zone".
