any piece of news can be spun, it's hard to determine what this means without the full text and inflection of the speakers voice. Not much to go with here.

Market makers have to exagerate these moves to collect stops and make a profit. The moves tomorrow will probably start with a strong up move to sucker in alot of traders so when they spend the money to drag the market south again, the reward will be higher than the cost. The headline will initially seem very bullish, then the details are read and it occurs to everyone else that nothing can be done until the German constitutional court rules on Germany's involvement on Sept 12. because no one else has any money. Sterilized bond buying won't work because it implys that there is money in the system somewhere (which there is not) to buy these back. The problem is, spanish and Italian banks hold hundreds of billions of sovereign bonds and are suffering a liquidity squeeze promting them to ask these broke governments (who they bought the bonds from and can't afford the interest on) to give them emergency loans to stay liquid all at a time when the depositors in these banks have lost confidence and have withdrawn their deposits. The only "emergency" move brussels can make that will stem this tide is to print a trillion and a half of Euros and throw them to the pinched banks and it has to happen before the banks fail. Maybe, maybe not.

All of this mess has no bearing on where the market makers will drag the market in the short term and it wouldn't surprise me if e/u rallys out of the august range and keeps rallying until sept 20th or so. They can and will take it anywhere they see money to book a profit. That's why this market movement seems so illogical. It's not about fundimentals, it's about money.

Keep it simple, forex is buy and sell among buyers and sellers. Anything else would be excessive.

Euro seems to go up despite all solutions pointing to massive debt and printing...

Some time ago Merkel completely rejected the purchase, and now accepts temporary purchases... I think it's a positive development. In summary she is supporting Draghi.

On what grounds is the Eur climbing the roof. The forex i study is suppose to trive on actual currency inter trade, or is it that the white man has failed this time around. What a shame.
