Would you please kindly answer some of the questions I have.
About the 3 kingdoms;
Do use it?
if yes: Do you use it to identify the trend or to time your entries? or both?
About skewing the positions;
I'm having a hard time skewing my position. Specially when attacking. Did you have the same problem when you started to trade in this fashion? How did you overcome it?
About Rescue operations;
I remember you had a hard time rescuing your positions at first. How did you manage to overcome that problem? Was it only practice, experiment and chart time?
When you do rescue operation are you looking to save all your troops at once or do you enter and exit as swiftly as possible?
When you are in a badly timed position (say L3 attack) would you take the loss and re-enter afterwards or would you attempt a rescue operation?
This TAF style is like learning to play a musical instrument, no matter how good your teacher is you must be the one who has the passion for music and willing to learn. One must start to feel the flow of music to be good at it and is something that the teacher can not teach. One must learn for themself. The teacher can only teach the technic, nothing more.
I'm trying to learn the technic from you and the TAF family IF it doesn't bother you.

NO. 3K is a tool to guide me – when insync that tells me a strong trend is happening and going against the trend is nothing but suicide... and so true with the opposite...

Re skewing...when starting off,probably best to try 1,1,1 skew untill you get comfortable with that and then graduate to your fib skew.Take your time.
We spoke a little last night re rescues...if trend changes..i just get out ...if entry just mistimed and trend still intact..what is the difference between rescue and aggresive attack?..only your mindset...how you view it..and that will change with time as you get better feel and more experience.
Your analogy to learning a musical instrument is spot on....feeling the flow is the key to this game.

... at first I was scaling them down but the matter is that the market keeps going back to my entries and I would reenter at the same price ... so the next step for me was to learn to be patient and I'm still working on it The problem that I'm having right now is that during a dance my unrealized drawdown is often bigger than my realized profit ... do you think that is a bad practice or would you consider it normal?... for example I might experience a DD of say 100 pips unrealized but I would be able to take only 50 pips realized .
I think the issue that I have with rescuing is as following:
- I don't have a predetermined plan
- I don't know how much my risk appetite is
- I don't calculate the troop size I have for every battle (And by the way how would you do that?) So sometimes I find myself overexposed and if the market would go against me I wouldn't know what to do. Actually I normaly just get out in this kind of situations
..only your mindset...how you view it..
and that will change with time as you get better feel and more experience.

I started off by 1,1,1 ... it helped me realize how to time my entries and to find some patterns ... but more than often I see my troops go under the water
The problem that I'm having right now is that during a dance my unrealized drawdown is often bigger than my realized profit ... do you think that is a bad practice or...
once you feel uncomfortable with your positions... normally it's because you're over exposure and you're feeding your ego...
remember, if there's no reason to stay... scale down to a comfortable size or better off... square... and wait for better confirmation or profit opportunity...
