DislikedAlright, I don't think I am comfortable with MN-D as FXpro doesn't really have a long history of data for monthly candles, and it deff looks very choppy to meIgnored

DislikedHi guys...Hugh..I live in Cebu and earthquake no damage here...Having lots of fun with this system...Though to be honest not fan of "final version" in that I think it misses many other reasonable set ups in other stand alone time frames ie 1 hour and 1/2 hour...
Did learn lesson.. don't trade in flat market that has no up or down trend. I manage my trades very early on and they must start going my way early in the trade entry or I exit with small loss...Had many of those in flat market. But, where set up was obvious I found that market moves almost...Ignored
Dislikedhow do you use this trading system during a news announcement that affects the trading pairs?Ignored
DislikedHello Hugh Briss,
What is the purpose of the Stochastic in the final version of the system?
I do not really see pullbacks towards the MA without Stochastic crossover?Ignored
DislikedYou are right to an extent, the stochs are just a confirming tool but also it gives you information about the smoothness of the pullback. The stochs are more sensitive to choppiness and can sometimes warn you away from an indecisive market.Ignored
DislikedIn our context what is the meaning of the word 'pullback'?
is it the movement towards the MA which is in the opposite direction of our trade?
or is it the following move away from the MA which is in the desired direction?
ThanksIgnored

DislikedSo it is better the price to move decisively against the trend before we enter?
If the movement against the trend is strong it is more likely that this movement is only a correction?
why is that?Ignored
DislikedOnce the trend is in the pullback zone ie crossed the 20 or 50 emas, its obviously better to get in at as good a price as possible and then possibly you could use a smaller time frame to execute such as the 15or 30 min HA. Has anyone tried this?
Hugh or anyone else have a view on this method of valuing strength your trades or other methods?Ignored
DislikedI've been profitably using Hugh's system according to his description for a few months. I also like to look at every possibility though so when I get a 20MA turnover (middle Bollinger band) I move to a similar system on a shorter period dual time frame (H4/M15 or even H1/M5) where the turnover can look stronger and then use rules for that set-up - these are similar to Hughs but adjusted for shorter period and with slight variations for differing levels of volatility etc.
Usually this will involve a much tighter stop loss, a somewhat larger lot size...Ignored
