EURUSD GBPUSD

The Bulls are out so watchout!

For EURUSD 1.27 is the next hurdle, after that 1.3 is on the card. Buy the dip is my trade plan, would be nice to buy at 1.24 but my position is already had a breakeven SL

For GBPUSD 1.6 is very possible following this D1 Chart's close.

LONG Bias here

Nice bounce at 1.24 up up and away!?

problem I have with these two is that I have to buy either the Euro or the pound and they are both basket cases so I won't buy either. I try to just stay away.

Someone once told me not to trade FX cos it was too volatile - there is a market that makes FX look like a pussy cat.

I read something recently about farmers dumping their hogs so they don't have to feed them over the winter(high corn prices) so the price has crashed - but when they finish selling there'll likely be a shortage??.....just a thought.

the majors bhp/rio etc make money at any commodity price allegedly not like others needing iron ore or coal to remain at an elevated price, weve recently had a few capital works being put on hold, but weve known the planned China soft landing for a while (except the idiots in canberra)... but currencies are a relative thing... what happens to euro and US if china goes down aswell, who cops a hit the hardest... it probably is australia though itd be interesting to see what happens to treasuries when that happens..

No probs - it reminds me of something you said about the markets moving before the news catches up, or something like that.

Everything is flat - do you think the markets are waiting for something?.

Won't it be a disappointment if the Bernanke doesn't print anymore toilet paper on Friday?

Yeah, but then this is going to happen after he doesn't say much about it: The morons on Wall Street will make up a story about why the Fed will have to print, and the next hopium rally starts.....it wouldn't surprise me at all, as they have found any and every excuse to keep inflating the bubble over the last two years.

Here's one that has my attention.
I like this fundamentally and the now the PA looks good.

It's been in strong downtrend and price has just closed above a convergence of two resistance lines (trend and horizontal). Also prior to the breakout were two consecutive inside bars.
This could be a significant breakout so I'm waiting to buy a pullback.

This is a great "risk on / risk off" pair. It is also a petrocurrency, don't forget that......most people ignore the oil aspect of the Mexican Peso.

Wide spread, but the pip value is much smaller as well........and I agree, that big white candle does look interesting. It also favors a "risk off" environment....which isn't exactly a stretch.

I know we all draw trendlines differently but I had this. I always connect the lows (the wicks) rather than the bodies. It's not a pair I'm trading at the moment anyway as chf is just mirroring eur (for higher spread generally) but it was a great 3rd touch bounce especially when you consider the obvious horizontal level as well.

Classic, rather than ignoring it was ignorant of it. Thanks I learnt something today! You are right when I overlay crude on usd/mxn it is pretty well inversely correlated.
This is good because I have been long 'oils' for a while and am expecting the run to end soon. More supportive factors.
