DislikedHi OCD,
You mention above that you will now be looking for bullish trades. Does this mean that you believe the general market direction has changed and will be looking to go long when stochs are oversold?Ignored
I'll still go both long and short BUT the strength of the trades will be in the long trades meaning bigger moves and easier runs verses going short. The candles will run bigger and easier for a while.
When the overall trend is bullish there are definitely trades to go short when the market does a little pullback but they just don't move as much. As an example, now going short will struggle to hit a level like the 23.6% instead of running all the way to 61.8% even though the Stochastics will be showing overbought.
I've been reading this morning and it looks like the political leaders are putting something more concrete together to deal with Greece, Spain and Italy. Evidently this is enough to incite the Bulls into action which is good enough for me too.
BTW, I adjusted my Fibs to low on 8/16 and high of today...based on that we should see a pullback to the 13% to 23.6 later today. Tonight is where it will get interesting because I'm hoping the Stochastics become oversold as you had mentioned.
Everything easy was hard at first
