Having a ranking system base on trade explorer would be nice. At least then when they post on a topic, people will take them more seriously.

Hard to tell who is profitable and who is not, as everyone on here seem to think they are all experts.

I welcome the challenge Jeff , August has been one of the better months for me, Im +17% this month, hope next month offer similar trade setups and results.

Start at step one and hope/dream/pray that you go further no matter where you started.
I can walk on a tight rope with no problem if it is a couple of feet high.
I don't think I can even stand up on the tight rope if it is 100 feet high.

The risk of falling is the same in both cases

As far as performance goes a potentia investor should look at at least these:

>1 Sharpe ratio, the higher the better
>1 Sortino ratio, the higher the better
average win > average loss, both in points and as percentages of equity, I would think something higher than 1.5:1 is a good enough number
win rate is not very important. Some people win 30% of the time but they still make money. You also want to look at the net gain and net pips gain(if lots are generally the same size). A negative number is a big no no.

Sometimes you also want to look at average duration and time in trade, staying in the market 100% of the time gets you exposed to all the extra volatility you do not want.

Basically what you always want is a trader who has the balls to leverage up in good times and bite the bullet and stay defensive in bad times.
