What is your favorite iPad trading application?

Hi, I have just bought an iPad and spend a lot of time on it - could you point me to the best iPad trading application out there? Especially one with good charts, I need to be able to do TA from there.

There is no real good application right now for me.

What works perfectly though is when you're at home in your LAN network. Use "Splashtop Remote" to control your computer. You can then trade as if you're at your PC. (Be sure to use the option "use resolution of your computer" so your screen resolution does not resize if you connect to your pc)

Nothing get's streamed to the internet if you use it at LAN, so it's also working flawlessly independent of your internet speed

If using Samsung Galaxi with USB access, can you open a regular trading platform and download your templates? Somebody has try that?

I have been using trade interceptor by Riflexo for a year now, They have multiple brokers (FXCM, Dukascopy and swiss quote) and demo accounts are allowed. I have 1 iphone an ipad 2 and 3 and they all integrate well and are stable. I asked them to allow users to add custom levels to fibs (and allow negative numbers) and they actually did it!

Its about the closest that matches the charts I use on MT4 and I only use it to support my trading while I am out and about.

Check it out. On the ipad version I run the three charts template in landscape mode without the price pane showing Weekly, Daily and 8 hour chart MTFs on a single instrument, you link the charts together and can run through your instruments. All fibs trendlines and objects are save by instrument so you can quickly go through all your charts.

Took me a good month of finessing to for an hour a day to get it how I like it. I also put on a picture example.

Why would you use this at home where your pc is located?

Sounds like a great tool! Just wondered though, If your using it to trade live would there be a slight chance that you could accidently touch into a trade by mistake due to the sensitive touch screen? If I had an iPad I'd be able to study candlesticks whilst taking a dump! Awesome!

I am trading commodity spreads and I found a great iPad application Keyfutures
for spreads monitoring.
I am very happy about that because there hasn't been anything like that up to now.
I am using Interceptor as well and it's great too.

metetrader mt4 isnt as bad as guys say. I find their charts to resemble the ones on pc most.the issue is order entry and stupid balck and white color.

RDP (Remote Desktop) to Windows 2008 servers running desktop trading terminals from my Verizon iPad 3 at 1920x1440.

Would not dare take a trade with any "app store" software.

Has anyone tryed Oanda's app for iPad, with iPad Retina(new iPad)? Is using the retina given pixels or is just like without? ( iPad mini, iPad1,2)

Has the New Order EXPIRY bugg like the iPhone version? - it doesn't care about value introduced, it will be 1 week anyhow, actually it set the value correctly, but at displaying doesn't display correctly(1 week)

can any one tell me why charts/quotes not displayed on ff site on an android phone btw i m using android phone 4 1st time

Because those require Flash plugin to browser.

Mobile platforms: Android 4 and iPhone ( iOS ) has no support for Flash.

Get an Android 2.3 or ask FF to change they graph to HTML5, anyhow that wil replace the Flash in a few years!
