I don't believe it has been released yet but will look something like this:

Yup, that's it.

It acts like an EA that you add to the chart, does one click trading, DOM, and TP/Stop management via chart line dragging all in one bundle.

I don´t know if its just me but that DOM EA is seriously hurting MT4´s performance. Haven´t seen it freeze in ages.

Also DOM is not showing me any total offer and ask / it keeps hanging at 1M for all specific prices. It might be just me.. still looking into it.

how is it possible for Pepperstones MT4 to repeatedly state 'no connection' 5-6 times when I press Market Order as price breaks through?!!?

price is moving on my screen and my internet is running, however MT4 says no connection, repeatedly!

Sat waiting all day and then this happens to me and I missed my trade!

Several times recently I have had this problem

Can anyone check and post whether their DOM feed is working or not with the new DOM plugin/MT?

The data feed seems to be totally messed up here as shown in previous post.

Yep - had a quick look at it before. Found the same issue. Plus the plugin seemed to be really affecting the performance of the MT4 install.

I'll probably give it a few days to settle down - bound to be some teething issues.

By the way, spoke to Pepperstone chat about the plans for existing Razor & Standard accounts and what timeline they had in mind to transfer people over to EDGE.

here's what they said:

The idea is to slowly phase them out over time and move everything over to Edge technology. They will work indefinitely but as we pull liquidity from the old servers the spreads will start to widen. We expect to start doing this in a couple of weeks or so as we focus technology, liquidity and development on EDGE.

I was reading on ASIC's website that Joe Davenport has applied for Pepperstone's AFSL license - so I guess they are becoming more a stand alone broker now that they have a customer base and the required funds + experience for their own license.

Yeah, getting MT4 freezes too with the OneClick thingy. Will test some more later. Will stick with my setup for now.

Yeah, I asked them what's up with the DOM and was told that they had to take the depth feed down for a bit for technical reasons. I suppose all the requests hitting it at once from the launch of Edge gave them some trouble.

They expect to have it back up soon.

Kinda was hoping for a smoother launch. :/ But oh well, these things happen.

As for the performance issues, check for the following:

If you just installed the new MT4 with DOM app built in, check your task manager to make sure there isn't a run-away process called 'setup.exe'. For whatever reason, I noticed it hung for me at full CPU utilization post install.

I'm looking into other things that could affect this since my home computer has ~4% max CPU utilization by the MT4 with the DOM app loaded, but I just noticed my laptop killing 20% CPU on the DOM app... neither seem sluggish with it running (and the laptop has 12+ charts up at any given time.)

I'll check again when I get home tonight for anything else that might make a difference.

Same Never worked with DOM so it will be a huge learning experience and a good variable in checking if certain levels are likely to hold or not.

Edit: Now its gone again heh. Hopefully back again tomorrow..

What a bunch of nonsense arguments in that post you quoted. Why would ASIC be no comparison to FINMA and what does it matter if Pepperstone is run by 2 ambitious young men.. I have no problems with them at all so far. Service is decent and professional. I know nothing about an ASIC license being rented from another company. Do you have a source for this?

We've talked about this before. It's a non-issue. Some people just like framing things in a negative way when they aren't really an issue in the first place.

Pepper partnered with a few companies to get themselves off the ground. No business is going to risk their license by working with shady partners or without fully understanding what's going on.

The people who founded Pepperstone came from years of experience with another reputable broker. Though I bet calling them young just flattered the boys at Pepper. lol..

ASIC is fine... Australia isn't some wild west where anything goes.

Pepper has also put all this info clearly on their site. Anyone can see it.

transition to edge seems to work well, there are some glitches to log in the client area, but the csr sorted it out for me. spread looks to be slightly improved, very good spread on gold, stay at 20 pips constantly.

if there is anyone from pepperstone is reading this thread, please give us a webbased trading platform. MT4 is so outdated technology, the one click trading plugin slows down my machine and i'd rather not use it at all.

I asked your customer service two months ago and was told you are working on the web trader, two months later, i'm still told the same thing. Please give us a web trader and i will stay with you forever!!

Agree, I actually think that the way they set everything up to be able to get up and running was quite smart. As Jack mentioned, the fact that some companies actually trusted them must mean something.

About the Oneclick thingy, one thing i am not liking is that I cannot enter micro lots for my stop losses and take profit, my stop losses are usually set at 6.5. Unless I am not seeing how it is done. Doesn’t really matter as I use stealth stop losses, but may be something they could consider adding.

DOM missing info here too at the moment.

MT4 running smoothly for now with the app.

The swap at the Edge account is quite worse than old razor. The tick volume is more than 20% less than old razor. I do not see any advantage of the new Edge account.

Does anyone else have this error in MT4 Experts tab after activating the OneclicktradingEA expert for Pepperstone?

2012.08.16 19:37:25 OneClickTradingEA EURUSD,M1: function 'IsReadyToRead' call from dll 'mt4dll.dll' critical error c0000005 at 6F8A18C6.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. When it does, in the late US session I am able to see some DOM data.
