For those of you who have programmed automatic systems into tradestation: Does the platform support automatically opening/closing positions, and if so, does it support automatically placing stops and limits?

TradeStation will not allow you to place "auto" orders in the Forex market. They only offer this service for equities and futures. I hear they plan to offer auto-execution in Forex sometime in 2005.

Actually there is a 3rd party service for $250.00 that routes autotraded orders to selected mm's. www.dynaorder.com. They support any broker that has FX trading station -- fxcm is probably the most popular company with that dealing station. You can test the trial version for 15 days before spending any money.

supposedly tradestation is going to have forex dealing integrated into their platform for 2005. (dont hold your breath though )

Software looks pretty but old technology. Opened an account & had a bad experience with them. They claim lower spreads but all my market orders were executed at 2-3 pips higher & never showed on charts. They attract clients with lowere spreads but scalp pips. Exit limit or stop orders were never executed even though it went through my prices. Very unprofessional.
