I found this on forexTDS maybe you can make some use of it. I can't seem to get it to do anything. But maybe the code in it will be useful.
It turns out that this is a indicator not an EA so put it in indicators. It works I tried it. It puts an arrow on the gap bar.
Could it be Man is trying to be something without knowing they're complete?
This was the first Sunday for this EA to go into operation. I was not able to get it to work. The gaps were small this week but I had three pares that were over 10 pips and the EA did nothing.

Anyone else have any results?

Old thread but thats exactly what im looking for. A nice little gap finder, not the one ugly that was posted on TSD forum. Anyone might help me?

It looks as if this is an EA, not an indicator based on the screenshots.

You didn't mention what it would look like, or how the TSD one is "ugly".

Probably old post but I have recently did some weekend coding.
Wrote a GAP indicator, It has an alert feature . So make sure you use a good tolerance level not to get alerts too often.

Feel free to modify if you need changes.

Hi OscarT I like your gap indicator but could you change the parameters to detect only gaps between close of the previous candle and open of the latest candle ? I appreciate if you post the mq4 version too. Thank you
