I am actually putting together a tutorial on this very topic. It won't be released and posted to Youtube until October of this year... but I will share some tips and tactics to nail down the approach newbies can use to accomplish this very task.

The tutorial I was referring to was a teaching video to help Traders accomplish consistent weekly returns that can build with compounding not specifically how to run 300 to a mil in 45 months. I saw my name mentioned and an inquiry so I responded respectively.

I do weekly reviews that highlights examples of patterns I teach and trade and I produce tutorials that educate for walk forward approach in Demo Accounts Newbies can use to aid in their development. It's a hobby not a business or peddling on my part. I review live trades I make and give premarket analysis as well. It's not always hindsight.

I already have a thread and Youtube channel. I'm not hosting a thread on this Forum as I find it full of insecure or otherwise rude folks that can't simply take a friendly gesture. Google my name and you will see all you need to know regarding me and will discover I don't need to backup anything.

Google his name, found a thread on Babypips forum, a lot of newbies think they found holy grail with his million dollar's promises.

He teach how to trade pivots after the fact and promote Chris Lori stuffs.

He can't operate his tactics here since this ain't a n00b forum.

I never watch those crap videos that say " we would have made money here and there" they are all crap , just ignore them .I can only watch A video with real Live trades , actually making the money.

This thread gives me a sneaky suspicion that some people will do whatever mental gymnastics necessary to support their beliefs.

My guess is that anyone who actually DID take a $300 to $1,000,000 would be castigated as a fraud right out of the starting gate should they ever reveal their account on MyFXBook or some other type of tracking/reporting service.

This makes sense because of the psychological weight that beliefs have. If someone believes that "it's impossible for someone to turn a small amount of money into a fortune in a time frame that is not measured in decades" then that person is put in a very precarious position if someone else actually goes and pulls it off.

His beliefs and external facts come head-to-head and he's faced with the unpleasant task of admitting that he was wrong. I'm sure that many of the it-cant-really-be-done crowd who've mixed it up in this thread would say, "You've got it all wrong...show me the money baby! Just show me proof that it's happened and I'll admit I was wrong!"

This is probably a lie. What most likely would happen is that they'd start screaming "FAKE! FAKE! FAKE!" before they would admit that they were wrong. After all, it would DEFINITELY cause less psychological trauma to make ad hominem attacks than it would be to admit one was wrong...especially with that nice little shield of anonymity that is the internet.

Someone could publish their MyFXBook account statement showing that funds were withdrawn (you can't withdraw funds on a demo account) and people would still scream that it was faked.

See, non-believers CAN'T admit that big money in short periods of time can be done. Not just because it would mean that the above belief was wrong...but because of the implications that come with being wrong in THAT way. See...if someone out there is making mad bank without taking on unbelievable risks on various individual trades while you are not....well then that means that you COULD be making a LOT more money than what you are making if you thought the way the other guy thought and acted the same way that he acted. The fact that "the other guy" is doing the same "type" of thing (FX trading) over the same number of days as the other guy simply adds insult to injury where the cognitive dissonance is concerned.

In the end, the subconscious will resort to denigrating the source of the psychological pain....the person showing proof of success....instead of adjusting beliefs so that they fall in line with the new information.

Proof of this would be when a trader uses any type of statement which resembles, "It's impossible to make X-number-of-dollars in Y-frame-of-time..." after having been shown that they were wrong. Essentially, living in denial about the fact as if one had never been exposed to them.

FXAssassin you must be high as a train if someone did achieved it turning 300 even to 100k,why the hell go boasting about it on internet or showing any proof,only total idiot would try to do that.People who manage to make money eventually leave forex as soon as they can and start something real-business,buy property,company etc.

for anyone else believing in this try making 10 accounts with 300$ in them surely at least one should come out as a million but no not even the creator of this thread didnt have the balls or belief in this system,so dream on as chances are same as wining a national lotto.

It is not about beliefs but rather simple mathematics and ill show you why.
It's highly improbable to do that in FX trading with or without taking huge risks.

To make this kind of money a trader need 20.2% return monthly for straight 45 months.
Basically unheard of in investment world. If he can generate that return and continues to to that for another 75 months that is trading for a full decade at the end he will have $1.163.207.984.805,00, and while at it why don't borrow $700 at the beginning of trading to make initial sum $1000. Whit that sum he will arrive at 1 mil at the and of 38 month of trading but at the end of decade he will have $3.877.359.949.350,01 . I attached excel file so you can play and see results with different returns. In excel file 1.2 is a return of 20% a month, every thing else is self explanatory.

So at the end of the day it seems to me that you are the one who is making whatever mental gymnastics necessary to support your own beliefs, not us who are saying that it is impossible.

Government, I've seen the line of logic that you're presenting here, and basically, I think it's got a major hole in it.

Basically, your argument is structured from a single premise from which you form a conclusion:

Premise #1) I is impossible to grow $1M to $3 Trillion in a short period of time

Therefore...

Conclusion #1) It is impossible to grow $300 to $1M

This is an illogical argument because the two are not related. The challenges which kick in to prevent growth from $1M to $3T do not exist at lower dollar amounts.

In this regard, growing money is a lot like the powerband on a race car engine. As the RPMs ramp up, the power output increases. At some point (typically right before the red line) the power output of the engine is at its peak. Push the gas harder at this point and bury the needle past the red zone before shifting and what happens is you actually experience a DECREASE in power.

The same thing applies here. There is some type of "redline zone" where the ability to grow large amounts of money in a short period of time will be optimized with a prime system that is being well run by an experience trader. Since nobody knows where this point is on this board, and since this is a thought experiment, let's just assume that this zone is between $1M and $10M. Pushing beyond $10M causes the system to actually loose power.

So, here's the scenerio. Someone DOES take a $300 account to $1M over the course of a couple of year. It then doesn't take that long to go from $1M to $10M. After $10M you run into the problem that you have difficulty getting larger orders filled. Liquidity becomes the issue (along with other things) and the rate of growth no longer works as before. We've essentially run into the problem that you predicted. You simply can't grow $1M to $3T.

Here's where your line of thought breaks down. The trader WAS able to grow $1M to $10M in a matter of months! He knows where the "redline zone" is...he knows where the limits of his system lie. So what does he do?

He does what anyone would do. He withdraws $9M and puts it into some type of mutual fund or other more traditional investment and then grows the $1M back up to $10M over the course of 60 days at which point he takes out another $9M.

This is the the reason why your reasoning doesn't work in the real world. Real people don't CARE if their system can't grow $1M to $3T. The fact that you CAN'T grow $1M to $3T has NO bearing on whether you can grow $300 to $1M. People DO care about making that first million though. Or half a million....or their first $100k. All of those figures ARE doable with a little extra risk and proper money management. It's most likely that it's actually realistic to make this kind of money in a shorter time-frame than is being espoused by the OP. Maybe not with the whole 5-pips-per-day thing....but doable as long as one is willing to take on a bit more additional risk (say about 5%) and find a system which has a good R:R ratio, acceptable win percentage, and a high trade frequency.

Also, let me head you off at the pass. 20 losses in a row at 5% per trade will not zero out an account. It would bring a $12,500 down to $4,481. If you used stairstep money management, you'd be able to withstand a lot more hits in a row than 20.

Things are even more endurable if you start the infamous drawdown once you've built the account to $100,000. At a straight 5% loss on every trade, 20 trades would take you down to $35,849. With a good stairstep mm program it would buffer that a bit and leave you with $37,000.
