FTB to a decent SR with a M5 supply zone. Unfortunately I was filled and taken out on the Japan Fitch downgrade without getting a chance to pull the order. So put this one down to bad luck.

One from this morning which hit the level as I sat down at my pc so did not have enough time to put an order in ..... will teach me to sleep in.
Anyways, was not the greatest break of the level but definitely a clear and well respected level and was worth a small risk IMO.
Price made it to the FTA marked in yellow.

Been a while since I posted here. Going to get back into posting all the trades I take and some of the obvious setups I may have missed.
Bit of a slow day today. Took the false break long of a previous swing low. Price did not really move with the momentum I would expect after a false break / bear trap. Decided to close the trade after price struggled to break supply and down trend line.
Profit/Loss: +0.38R

FTB to broken SR and supply. There was a slight pause and reaction at the SR before price broke higher and came back to form an H1 pinbar. If you look at the lower timeframes you will see there was a bullflag which had formed. Reduced the SL as price moved down and was looking for some follow through on the pinbar but never got it.
There have been a couple of trades in the past in which a bullflag / bearflag on the lower timeframes has provided fair warning that the trade may fail.

Liked the location of Aussie (h4 Supply and at the top of a well defined channel). So was looking for short trades. Unfortunately go to my charts this morn a bit later than usual so missed the entry on the close of the H1 pinbar. As I still felt that we were in a good location based on the bigger picture and as Equities was also at supply I decided to look to the lower timeframes for an entry.
Got an okay entry as close to a broken minor SR and supply. Took half profits at m5 demand and then moved SL to just above minor SR and supply to see if we could get more of a push lower. Out for a net BE+ trade.

Took a GU FTB to broken SR. There was also an M5 demand zone. Unfortunately price was not doing much ahead of the FOMC statement and as I was heading out I decided to close the trade prematurely for 7 pips.
With such small gains it prob would have just made sense to set to BE and looked for full TP at my original target which was subsequently hit just 25 minutes later.

Short at M30 supply. Took 2/3 of position off at FLR and the rest a bit lower at M30 demand. Was not expecting much from these moves prior to ECB Press Conference.

I now have my 2 "servers" set up and ready. I have started configuring the MT4 setup for back testing. I didn't realise the computer power needed and might have to fork out for some proper CPU power.
