Has everyone stopped using the synergy bars? I personally don't like them because you can't see the candlestick reversal bars clearly and it seems nobody here is using them now.

EDIT: In daily chart it should be HL (higher low) instead of LH (lower high)!!!!! MY mistake sorry!

Trying to keep it simple...
Eu confusing above 4h and day 10ema with the 1.2250 bounce off the day 10e; anyway, I was not awake when this happened but glad Matlobien nailed it for us.

Au is all long but far above the HTF ema's so don't know what to do with that.

Gu has bounced down off day 200e and the 4h 800e two days ago; then retested the 4h 800e bouncing down past the 4h 10e; I thought it looked ripe for a short.

 

  1. Arrow drawn at pinbar candle retesting RN 1.5700, that closes below the 15m 200e and 10e looks to be correct entry; shamefully, I rushed into the trade after the pinbar formed in the white circle and then touched the 10e at 1.5694.
  2. Closed trade at weekly 10e

Trying something experimental since MTF ema indy was posted a few weeks back. The two thin blue lines are the 4h 10ema and at the bottom where I closed is the weekly 10ema. So far so good.

Classic long setup on EU. Took about 10 pips. Closed at RN area. News coming out in 3 minutes.

Screwed an earlier entry short on GU due to premature execution. The correct entry was after the pin bar. So that one hit my S/L at -10.

BE for the day. Will continue watching for trades.

arrow shows candle that came back up to 15m 10e touch where I entered late; in my rush I forgot to add spread to sl and was stopped out by 1 pip;

price had bounced up off weekly 10e (lower thin blue line) but stalled at the 15m 10e without going up to the 15m 200e or the 4h 10e (thin blue line); hmmm.....must want to go back down in the trend again.

I chased it getting in late;

I lost 20 pips when price hit my sl by 1 pip; next time I'll remember to slow down and add the spread to my sl...hopefully lesson learned.

Shorted GU for what it looked like a good setup after the breach of 800ema on M15 and favorable MTF.

Overlooked ADR, which was nearly reached so I scratched at +2.1 pips.

Was that the right thing to do or did I have to hold this trade? I was afraid the ADR was reached...

dont play with the ADR my friend...it can burn your account even if you were right at time that little pull back will take your SL so ...no such setups...

  1. after news price went down to 4h 10e; this was a nice entry there but I was chicken after news so waited till it went up to 15m 10e;

Master Candle


Hi All,

Something to share

Observe the formation of a master candle
Determine a range between the maximum and minimum of the main candle which will be stronger the more candles are within the range.

When rupture occurs within the range delimited by the master candle, if you notice that the price is returned, it penetrates within the range again and breaks on the opposite side it is best to immediately close the position.

This means that once you get to produce the first break of the range and the operator opens a position, no matter what happens afterwards, there will be no more trades with that range. If the operation results and the price moves in the direction of the first break it and if it is otherwise closed position and assume losses.

Just something for everyone to think from Dow Theory.
