There are many traders within retail making a living from full time trading.im surprised some dont believe this to be possible.

the problem with trading full time ,requires an account size much larger than most have.similar to the cash flow required to running a small buissness.many fail due to cash flow problems.

anybody claiming there living of a couple of thousand doller account is dilusional.

on a personel level i need 40,000 pounds a year just to cover my families living costs,so whilst i build my account i still need to dabble in other things,

theres also the emotional hurdle to get over,

i think a 50,000 pound account size would still be tight

but if you have everthing in place,go for it,

what do you mean? which needs? the time i need to make trading decisions is about five to ten minutes a day ... what's next?

i don't say don't go fulltime, i'm saying i can put my expertise into practice and provide people with something they need, that's how society generates wealth and i want to live in an affluent society.

@acacia357: more time (in front of the screen) doesn't necessarily mean more money in trading unlike in truckdriving.

How about Paul Rotter, placing hundreds of trades per day, making +50% (+500K) per day when he started? Here is the full story:

I dont know wether these peoply are famous to the public. But to me, they are.

Shining a light on 2 or 3 superstars is exactly what 99% of aspiring traders do not need in order to make rational decisions with their accounts or the course of their LIVES.

99.97% of traders who take on the kind of risk needed to make those kind's of gains take the fast track, express, rocket to poverty. Are you that good? If so the only reason you are here is to keep lining up the accounts of the ignorant in order to feed the machine.

Ask the experienced, not the learned. They are not the same thing.

Saw a myfxbook account before with someone trading a similar style. His gain is unbelievable. The market is certainly exploitable and Holy Grail certainly exist. And those few people who know the way to exploit the market are definitely not here to discuss useless stuff.

And for someone who are worrying about the regulation or anything, keep worrying, it's an ever-changing market and regulation.

Well said. I agree 100%. Nothing gives more hope to the delusional than to hear or read that someone somewhere is making those forex millions. Realty eventually kicks in and they wake up and smell the losses.

judging by the charts you have posted since you have been a member, you should have never gone full time, i can clearly see from the trades you took you would have gotten raped from the market. having zig zag/squiggly lines patterns and indicators is not going to make you a fulltime trader,

learn how the market REALLY works!

For all I know you could write this 10 minutes ago. This article show only dark side of forex - highly leveraged idiots who think they are better than market - and they have done it in just one month!
This thread will go forever without reaching clear conlusion, it is not for everybody - dead simple.
And this is certainly the worst article about forex I have read so far.
