The first post shows how I started out with my current system, over the last year or so I have developed it, I mainly trade the bounces now instead of the breaks.
There are a couple of reasons for this.
1. I was fed up of FAKES !!!
2. I was able to have smaller SL 's on the bounce.
one factor was that I also found I was able to give up on a trade easier if I was trading a bounce. By this I mean when I was trading a breakout i was more committed to it's direction and ultimately ended up losing more money because of that.
This way I KNOW I am trading against the immediate trend, I am wary and this makes my SL 's smaller and my ability to ditch a trade quicker.
You will notice that I vary slightly! this comes from time in front of the screen. today I adjusted my GBP entry and added to it. NOW THIS IS RISKY!! but it is what I do.
When adding to a losing trade I try to ensure that the entry is very close to my SL so that I am not massively increasing risk.

now it is very easy to get disheartened by only getting +27 from my last trade when it went on to +95
but you need to remember the system that works.
One thing that i believe to few traders factor in is that time in the market is RISK !!
who is to say that it would carry on !! I do not have that information I just play my system, sometimes if the bar is strong I will let +12 pips become +20
Occasionally I will pop away from the screen and come back to +27 (today for instance) (If only I'd have popped away for longer
) I have stops in place but close profits manually 90% of the time !!
now it is very easy to get disheartened by only getting +27 from my last trade when it went on to +95
