True, but then again - the SNB is pushing the Franc as well, so I would take that with a grain of salt.

I'm ready for some actual trend movement again. May not come since it's summer though. Pips have been coming slow the last week or so. Lots of intraday chop.

So CNBC just suggested that housing prices may have bottomed, and now they want to know if the housing market is about to pick the overall markets back up?

This is great news except for those speculators that just got long.
Soybeans is at a critical technical level now, we are at a strong previous resistance area that may become support.
I have been bearish Soybeans and have been on the side as this weather rally is likely to come to an end at some stage. I am only interested in being short this market at the moment.
The last two days are strong signals that suggest a top 'may' be in.
So its either bounce and resume the uptrend (without me) or its break and then down she goes.

It makes sense that Soybeans will fall harder than some of the other ags as well......beans are much more able to deal with a lack of water. This market will fall apart if the rain continues......and it is supposed to.

Indeed, AUD/USD in similar pattern (although no Flag)
I would love this to be a higher low again however upside could be contained by the 1.045 level.

Surely due to the Olympics hence demand for GBP this should drive up the cable?

I'm waiting for H4 to clear supply first here on the H4. Bullish sentiment still as well. Agreed on 1.045 from the daily possibly containing too.

Whose surprised?

So far, we have been given a 200'ish pip risk for a 500'ish pip reward. I like it a little tighter personally for a weekly play (100 pips or less). 50% of the zone is generally what like. Lets see if it will give it to me or not.

I think this is where a lot of people get caught up in trading and failing to understand it's a numbers game.

Is everything bleak? Sure. Am I crazy for placing a properly risked position based on a level that has a 50% chance of holding? Naw, no way. This probably will break down... i'm not one for predicting the future. I just play the setups as they come. With proper r/r in mind we will come out on top.
