Simply coz its the first touch...simple isnt it??...i have typed million times in this thread about this....and there is no confirmation of the price it was a hammer..which cleraly tells us there are buyers left and we naturally expect a bounce off that when the price touches it for the first time that day,,,,atleast a small retracement is definatly possible on the 200mea coz that is 4hr 10ema...

Hope this clears...next time it was very clear...

It's a very good explanation..I am at the same stage like you not looking a TDI any more and starting to look why the past candle close that way, what will going to happen in next candle or in the future but still like u i m missing a good setup,getting scared and panic not controlling my emotions etc..So i m working on it and only taking a basic setup trade now even i can see a CT setup very clearly..Just want to be a consistent trader ...One day we all just hang on to this thread and blessed by Arjun

you are right i need to go through this one more time ...as i am not that much experienced i get confused some time.

Problem with me is that sometime i try to hard to understand complexity of trading leaving simplicity. But i guess it will all come with time.

My lesson of the day is to keep it simple stupid, I've been trying to be be to cute with my trading today.

Less is definitely more with this method thank you for your guidance Arjun.

I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired.........I miss most all these; make mistakes; hold mistakes, etc...but i'm getting better at working the complicated out of my system...simple rules.

Au tricky in that price never touched a 4h or day ema all day. Trend is easy but when you haven' t seen this before I stay away.

These 3 charts ready for discussion if there's anything someone can teach from them to help us.

I think best way to learn is no matter how much simple its for someone but when you are looking at charts , and dont understand something or wrong in trading decision , we should put the chart and ask for clarification from experience member.

Home work is something mentioned many times in the thread for in experienced traders such as ourselves given by experienced traders and topics are given for home work ....

not sure i'm qualified just yet as experienced but I'm trading this live so maybe that qualifies me.

Le1 calls homework going back and looking at past charts for setups like I just marked a few posts ago. Its not necessary to mark them just observe what's happening on 15m, 4h and day chart. I'll place a vertical line on each 4h and day touch of an ema and then go to 15m chart and see the entry.

When something new is discovered, go back over the last weeks charts and find its use. Le1 says he practices using his charts all the time to stay sharp. I should practice more than I have.

That's all the homework I've done with charts. I would do this for the present month of past charts.

I've also copied all the instructions le1 says into a word doc...I'll attach the updated copy here if you want to read it instead of the thread. But there's experienced traders on the thread you might want to read what they say too...say the last few weeks.

Le1 mentioned using a simulator in this thread but I haven't tried that. Has anyone any experience using it?

Le1 says look at past charts and demo very little. After spending enough time to confidently see trades demo a few and then trade penny pips.

I'm sure there's better advice someone can offer than ths. Steve

Maybe, this is what you need to sharpen your skill. I hope you can practice this and understand how A move around EMAs and understanding timing to enter and exit.

The last line in the manual says.

"I hope you enjoy using this tool. I know for a fact that it will improve your trading more than you may realize at first. I suggest that you spend at least an hour in the simulator per day."

Not much I could help, but the least I can think off for the benefit if all traders in this thread . All the best

Hello Stevewide,

I have started to use LFH simulator last week , its really good and fast way of gaining experience.
Only problem is you cant change time frame in order to make analysis.

So, what i am doing is , i have opened demo with 3 different brokers and 3 different mt4.
and than i open Daily , 4H and 15 min in 3 different Mt4.

Than i open yearly calendar for news ...( So to avoid simulation trading during news time )

It is as realistic as it can get and speed up the process depend on speed of your decision making .

you can do weeks testing in couple of hours.
