Usually I look at somewhat correlated pairs when i trade and in the two examples above I see a conflict between EJ and EU, which I generally like to see moving in the same direction. In this case one is telling me to go long and other is short. I do not like to see that and I liek those two pairs to be lined up in the same way before I trade. Although EU is nto there yet for a bullish setup .. so maybe it wil continue down with EJ and we never get a bullish setup on EU

Possible trade on EURPLN (trade with trend) Waiting for candle confirmation.

Still wondering should I gor for it, because this currency pair has a large spread.

which candlestick patterns do you use for trading hidden divergence? the same ones as for regular divergence (pinbar, hammer and engulfings)?

We have bullish divergence on euro pairs. EJ has a few dojis in a row and looks like it might reverse to the upside, however WAIT till after the news before u open any positions

WOW, news was very bad for the euro obviously and that cancels our H1 setups long. HOWEVER, if you look at H4 now, we have hidden divergence on EU ane EJ, and 99.00 level on EJ is huge support. so maybe we get a long setup now with hidden divergence on EJ

Hi all. I dont get the chance to day trade all that often using this strategy and find myself looking back at the end of the day when all is done and finding simple trades. But in reality its not that simple when its live. Any tips and suggestions would be muchly appreciated. I have been trading for over a year so know all the basics but still at the stage of winning some and losing some. Unfortunately I am on my own as I know of no one who trades. So some companionship along this tough road would be awesome. Here is an example of a lost trade yesterday. I thought it was a definate winner. With divergance showing strongly and a 61 fib and a previous support i thought i was ready to print the money. But no Not so lucky. brought at the high of the low test bar and clicked me in by 1 pip before shooting down. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Love the thread and the strategy to guys.

You want to look at both the highs and lows of candles. BUT, what is most important is that you draw the RSI in the same manner as your candles. So, if you draw your line as the bottom of your candles you should draw your RSI line at the lows (troughs) of the RSI. If you draw your line at top of candles, you should draw your RSI at the highs (peaks) of the RSI.

In case you are looking for a regular bearish divergence (generally in an uptrend and looking for the end of the trend and reversal down) you will want to draw...
Thankyou so much for explaining something very simple, ive read that much I just couldnt understand it hahaha. Ive finished reading your thread and I find it very interesting. Anything with price action interests me and using it along side divergence looks and seems like a good solid signal.


Another question for you PP

When you have posted charts or other posters I see the divergence but there is also many other divergence within the chart which didnt move in the oppersite direction straight away, sometimes it went up another 2 or 3 times before it turned and went down or up. How do you know its not going to carry on or how do you know its just a signal to tell you there is weakness in the price but its not ready to change direction? I am talking about Regular D here no HD.?

Divergence on the 1 hour could be heading for 1.58 area at least

Divergence on the 1hr a few hours earlier you could still catch this one it will possibly go to 1.22 area
