Is anyone else having problems seeing these pages properly? Mine shows without any css - just plain text. I dont see any attachments either. It's a mess.

Mine's the same - i can see raw text but a lot of images are missing in every page that i click......... (in all of FF)

I thought it was just me... it is like this in chrome, IE, and firefox for me... I don't get it! I even cleared the history, caches, reset cookies, etc.

Ah then this is FF at fault. It did it a while ago only it didn't get me at the time. Affected some users but not others.

Hey guys,

Ike I said yesterday, the talk of the week was all about ranges... I have been looking at my charts all day in order to find anything revelant of ranges...
I don't know if you guys do get any relevant value out of it but I have marked some charts and tryed to explain what I have found.
Tyoon, you inspired me too go look for it on my charts so I am curious to see if you already saw this (see charts)

So basicaly what I found, is that there will always be a trading range that will be formed after an engulf of previous supply or demand level. Either with 1 big candle or a candle that is at least bigger then the previous ones...

Any comments are welcome, as always.

Everything in the market is flags and poles, right? The flag, or the range is the function of clearing out s or d to enable the pole. One has to happen for the other to happen. Compression. Or am I wrong?

Well, if I look at the ranges that I drew on my charts, I see that in order to have a new range, the previous one (range) has to be broken.
Now there are also ranges within ranges, I analyzed the 1h tf here, so if you look at a ltf you'll see smaller ranges within the 1 h ranges...

Of course we also see some s/d levels within those ranges, so in order to break the previous s/d, the orders would have to be consumed first.

I am certainly no expert yet on ranges, as I did this exercise to see if I could find anything revelant and I wanted to share what I found with you guys. so any comments/feedback on this is very welcome

Keep at it. You will find some valuable things.

Is essence, ranges are a SIMPLE way of breaking price into chunks and helps you focus on how price MOVES. You can define a range by identifying significant hs or ls, or you can define a range by identifying a balance of buyers and sellers. There are no real set rules.

When you have defined a range watch how price moves inside it and around it. It could also be important to know when and where ranges usually form and possibly why too.

Just re-read and noticed this.

When locating ranges finding levels within the range, observing how those levels are used can give you indication of a break or a direction of the inside movement.

I saved this chart the other week exemplifying how some SRs got used in filling a H L range. How these levels get used gives you the scenarios in anticipating where price is going.
