Can anybody sugest the best settings to have forex factory NEWS section set to for fundamental news stories being released around the world. This pertaining more to the erozone and US .Thanks.

You don't need settings, you just have to ignore news where you see more numbers than letters. Like .. Spain 15y 7.02% 15 b vs 6.92, it's pure nonsense, gives you headache and nothing more.
News has to keep flashing, penpushers paid by the line, they have to make a living too, but most of the stories are useless and you will forget tomorrow.

Ummm...for erozone news ... well ... I can give you a few tips but not in public

I think it's inflation, rising yields, rising prices, a result of printing more and more money. Does it matter if it's 6.97 or 7.02? Not really.
But I'm not good with numbers anyways ... for me 8x8x8 is ... 4

It´s mainly a psychological issue. 7% is widely considered "do or die" in 10 year goverment bond yields and thus should be kept in mind, if you care about fundamentals. my opinion.

90% of times Forexfactory publishes indicators and not news. I would not ignore the news because many times they are important and even if you don't get in to the story, you know that something significant is happening and your are more cautious in trading.

Every form of analysis will have a convergence and divergence effect.
It means that price will go in the opposite direction to the analysis.
If analysis said up, price will go down. And vice-versa.

Does this mean that analysis is useless?
How can we spot divergence effect before they happen?

Nope. Just make sure you remove as much subjectivity in your analysis.

I can't... because I can't predict the future. And I don't try to predict the future. I just get out as fast as I can when it doesn't go my way.

Well, in my view, if someone is not predicting the future he is entering his positions based on luck.

For example if you detect an influx of money coming in and enter a long position, my assumption is that you have predicted that price will go up (at least to the extent that you can move your stop to break-even to prevent a loss).

Detecting an influx, tracking momentum, etc... are a true form of analysis. It is an accepted notion that this will change at any given random point in time. This leaves room for any change.

Drawing subjective lines, subjective patterns and forecasting price targets ahead in time is predicting/forecasting. This doesn't leave any room for change.

Very big difference. Following the move is totally different from predicting the move.

I disagree with your statement. Luck has nothing to do with it. You are saying that I'm lucky, coz I was able to identify and profiting from an opportunity. No way!

Like CP said, following is completely different than predicting.

How can you predict to a high degree of certainty that which is uncertain?
Predicting is anticipating something will occur that hasnt yet ocurred.
Reacting is following something that IS occurring (in its infancy stages).
