It will only be sloping after a good trend has developed so it doesn't have to be sloping when you take your first entry. It's there more as a s/r level, bullish/bearish level.

If H1 shows a signal here, would you still sell here or did the price travel too far already so that we should anticipate a potential turn-around ?

I have been riding the EU down for over 200 pips now - but a pullback here wouldn't surprise me one bit. And if it takes me out at my SL, I will look for a reentry if the slide resumes...

Here's an indi that signals/alerts only if all the stars align. It checks HA color, Stoch crossing and the side where the price currently is, relative to the MA.
The code is based on the Stoch Crossing indi and the standard Heiken Ashi.
Let me know if I missed something.

Does this indicator monitor both the D1 and Hourly timeframe for the HA changes and stochastic crosses/MA relationship?

Hello, Traderbry.

If you ask if the indicator monitors multiple time frames at once in order to generate signals, then no, it doesn't. It works on a single time frame, that's the time frame of the chart where you apply it. You need to switch the time frame setting of the chart manually to check the status there. Should I create a MTF version as well?

So, on the H1 chart, if price is above the 100 MA, and the stoch crosses up & HA color change to green occurs, this indi will alert me & signal a potential Long entry? But if stoch crosses down & HA color changes red, while price is above the 100 sma, this indi will do nothing? Correct??

Yes, that's right.

Could you be a little more specific? What is the intended behavior of a MTF version? Monitor D1 for signals, alert when a signal occurs, then switch to monitoring H1?

I like the H4 signals going in the direction of the daily trend, personally. I use a MTF moving average of the daily 10 EMA, which is roughly the same as the 50 SMA on the H4 chart. I just like the daily 10 EMA because the institutions watch it and add to their positions when price pulls back to it during a strong trend.

As for the indicator, I would like a function that would allow the user to have the signals be based off the daily 10 EMA (or whatever the user wants), H4 Heiken Ashi, and H4 Stochastics. This could be used for any combination of time frames. Daily/H1, Weekly/Daily, H1/M15, etc. Here's a screen shot for illustrative purposes, and I'm including the MTF MA indicator in case it comes in handy for coding.
