My broker lets me specify the $amount to invest, which I find really handy. I'll get my entry + SL + Target, then I work out how much to invest, this way I don't place my SL based on $risk.

Thats really cool. I've also used Hanover's VO Comprehensive Order script ( a free version he had available for a short time ). Which lets you visually place Limits, SL and TP's with a % risk too....quite handy.

Another example Chart.

Jumped on board distribution phase, after the new low was broken, sold the retest of supply.

I'd like to see the Aussie turn here soon. Poor thing wants to go north but cable and euro keep dragging it down. Would be nice to see the majors all in sync again.

I love this thread, i have learned a lot. I usually have been in ff for a few years now but i never really post anything, I trade on micro account, not a full time trader, have been trading for 3 years on and off, but trading supply and demand concept for about 6months now, i have a problem im trying to correct and if anyone could help me... I tend to pick a bias, if i am long i just get stuck waiting for oportunities to go long instead of looking for shorts as well and vice versa. Today is an example, i did great going long earlier on the week but a day like today, i went long on support levels for and go hit with stop losses, thinking it was a good demand levels on lower time frames with small stops but they add up a bit. I wonder if some of you guys had the same problem at some point in your trading careers and how did you manage to just follow price..

Approach should have stop signs too. Momentum was far too great here to try and catch it.

These moves can really hurt if you're relying solely on the zone

Big issue for me... LoL it is funny after the fact , looking at the charts, i was like "Why was i looking for longs "? , my head was just stuck thinking longs....

Hi James, something I do is I simply look towards what was the last zone beat? Was it supply? Then my bias is long. Was it demand? Then my bias is short.

It's not perfect... but it works good enough. Daily and H4 charts rarely are wrong from this specification. Look forward to Ifmyante's tutorial as well. Always love to see the market in different lights.

One thing you will learn though. Bias long or short, from the information we have, every zone drawn has a 50% chance of holding, or breaking. That's why it's best to watch PA to see what it is currently saying about the zone (slowing down, momentum change, engulfing candles etc). Beyond that, let risk management take care of the rest.

looking at that supply zone was a great catch to the very pip but to clarify are you calling the doji enough to go short as supply?

I realize it was an indecision candle but if you look at it in H1 format the only decision i would feel comfortable with is the one above at the 1.04 area.

I see nothing at the 1.0330 area at all.
