hello buddy...i dont use any indi myself mate...i dont use even the TDi...i rely purely on the PA....i wasnt there when that trade occured.i wasnt trading last week except friday and tuesday for 10minutes..i just going throught the charts and found this one thats all...but trust me...it works and this is how i have been trading...ofcourse you wont rely just on that...sometimes the price will break through that level...and thats why we need to wait for the confirmation on the 15min...

mate...i wasnt looking for long...i think you got me wrong there...i was looking for short trade on the 15min...with the confirmation of the same on the daily chart...there was a Rn 2500 and price broke that and went straight down

Hello folks everything in the world lags...if it doesnt lag...then the person who created TDI or any indicator will be the richest in the world...we just to keep the odds in our favor by seeing what others are doing...

Thanks LE1 for these charts - I learned again a lot

Lets see how next week is going. I am still new to the system - but I am getting more confident in the system. So far 8 out of 10 trades worked for me - AND the 2 bad trades were mistakes (2x against the SMA200 trend - so watch out people !!)

Will keep up my results and ideas throughout the week.

Pivot points and s & r lines don't lag, for trading the 15 min chart use daily pivot points, both attract and repel price like magnets, they are your best friends.

Personally, I'm still not clear on the exact parameters of what it is we're looking for in the way of a long or short bias from the HTF.

Have I missed something?

Hey everybody,

1) Nice analysis TraderPL. I would agree with your observations.

2) I just did some back testing and want to learn something new. I am currently trying to identify correctly BOUNCES by the green line from the yellow line - because I have seen that often after a bounce from the yellow line a big move follows.

Attached my Chart for illustration purposes. My question here is:

How can you be confident that the price will not cross higher than point A on the chart? do you trust the SMA200 (which is sloping downwards)? I also see the BN (1.2500) at which the price failed to get through.

There is only one chart...we split them into our comfortable views.there are specific traders for each and every TFs.they stick only to that and dont bother to look at other TFs.it is purely your choice my friend...for example,if you can spot a SELL on the 5min,it moves in a different way than the sell on the HTF.to put it simple 5min moves faster than 1hr or 4hr.it happens so quickly on the LTF.

For someone who is trading 4hr, the 5min TF is quick,coz he is used to seeing the price SLOWLY.the same 5min is slow for someone who is trading the 1 min or or 5sec or 10secs chart...


our understading is just practice your eyes on 1 TF.stick to it and then you will seee it happening..obviously it will take time to catch what those big folks are doing.but practice is the key...i think backtesting is more importnat than demo..Just look at the pure price are the selling or buyin....it wont come in a day or two...it will take a very good screen time.

Ok, thanks for that, Arjun. I'm guessing I've missed something in this thread, as I've not seen a definition of what you're using to decide long or short bias. I have my own way now, but I'd be interested to see how it compares.

thanks alot,actually i wanted to write tf 15,but i am really glad your answer clears every thing.You have restored confidence into my heart about this business.The rules is to stick to a particular timeframe dat suits one and follow the rules and be discipline and not greedy.

I m so much confused now cause you said that only homework u have to do is , decide u going long or short looking daily & 4hr time frame..but can u tell us what u look on this HTF chart and how u decide that today i m going long or short????

In my mind so many questions going on now, what i m missing here that making me confused...I really appreciate your help so as other trader too..

You doing a job that no one did in this FF forum opening a eyes how to look forex in real PA..

Orange marked LO, Yellow marked NYO.

Both has same set up for short, but one failed the other go thro.

Is there anything else I miss looking at this short set up ?

Hi Gibril,

There are a few thing to consider. First of all, it looks like they both went through for an acceptable amount of pips, but it depends how many you wanted. I would have been jumping out at the RN. As for the NYO open, it's worth noting that there was a news release for the USD at that time. Whilst the results were negative, they were only very slightly so. It could be that they were close enough to the forecast numbers that people were
happy to back the USD against the Euro.

EDIT: Plus it was Friday. Crazy things happen.
