How is your trading, enjoyable or frustrating?

It's being very enjoyable at the moment, very happy with the booker i'm following. But I'm afraid that I'm experiencing begginer's luck ehehe Really hope not...

I can't understand how some1 comes up and tells some fairy tales here...Forex is very boring!!! Very boring??? May be those who say that are older people (no intent to offend please) who can not take the pain and hard work needed to make you a very good (professional) trader. The truth is this is a very hard job which anyone can do but needs very hard work till you become a 'true trader'.

It is a job that needs at least (to my understanding) three years of learning curve, another three years of experience curve and another three years of consistence curve...then you can look back and say, that was some good study and it is worth it in the end (only if you achieve to be a successful trader). You need the right information and the right people around you to achieve the goal.

So what really makes trading look so easy? So many factors, but primarily the Internet-yes, this make you join the traders, whether you are a good trader or not, simple- you can trade!

Trading is very, very frustrating to begin with! Yes this is the very truth about trading (to begin with)... many people give up within the 1-2 years of trading. Many reasons for this...blowing accounts, lack of passion, lack of enough time, no patience, on and on and on...I can create a story book for this!

A mixture of both frustration and joy...at this stage, you are probably trying some things here and there, working sometimes, but not all the time. Things like systems, indicators, books, mentors etc! The reality at this stage is, you are in the learning curve, may be which I doubt-experience curve.

Enjoying!!! At last, you managed to double your account...this is within the experience curve towards consistence curve. At this stage you are making a bit of silly mistakes and you are trying to take notes of them, but they seem so many....but at least you are not blowing your account until you eradicate it.

Enjoying and happy about your trading! Very concise in your trading decision, very reasonable, very patience to wait your moment, and when it comes, you take it with a smile! VEry professional on how you spot the fakey trades and you are not even tempted to get in at any cost. Here, you are a true trader! YOu may say you are born a trader but a true trader will not tell you so! Here you reached the peak of your consistence curve. You make your money (living) through trading, you enjoy every bit of it. No room for frustration!!!!! :-)

Please when some1 asks how is your trading, tell him or her the truth, nothing but the truth, don't mix up things or be dishonest to the one who is seeking the reality of trading.

I do agree with most of the points you'd listed except for the 3 year learning curve, guess that kind of depends on the individual trader and on how much of their time they are willing to invest in this market to learn the ropes..
