Welcome back Arjun, we surely did miss you. Good pip harvesting. I got the EU 4th trade on your snapshot at 1.2569 but no pips in my pocket as I was expecting it to reach 10 EMA but it turned around. Ended as a BE ! Got a lot to learn.

here are my trades and reasons for today's session:

GU: thought of going short as for the london session price closed on H4 below 10EMA, and 200 EMA, daily candle was bearish and still with some room until it reaches the 10EMA (which it has surpassed by now). H1 also gave me support in my assumption to go short today as the price was around the 800EMA which I thought would be resistance. as the day continued the price was finally below the 800 EMA and kept going down. I haven't started trading on GU until a candle closed below the 800EMA.

AU: thought of going short as well, as the daily candle was already bearish when i first looked at it this morning and because of yesterday's doji. also, on H4 the price was pretty close to the 800EMA. as i would find out later, there was still some room though which i didn't consider signifcant but i guess that also caused me to lose pips today. i am happy to make these mistakes now because learning is most efficient when you do something wrong (amen! lol) also, i am completely new to forex so i guess these things happen hehe


my trades: #1 was AU at LO, which failed for -22 pips. i did not monitor the trade and it hit my stop loss. i think H1 was also a bullish candle at the time i took the short trade. i would appreciate if u can tell me what else i did wrong here

#2 was GU, which i took because price was rejected at the 200 EMA twice on M15 and i did not really pay attention to the TDI here. i closed the trade way too early i believe. it gave me 7 pips as i closed it manually. i saw the ranging of earlier today at the same level i closed my trade it. however, that ranging was before LO and even before FO. i guess it was also psychological, as i wanted to have a positive outcome guaranteed for this trade.

#3 was GU as well. this one gave me ca +15 pips and i based it on the RN 1-2-3 pattern that loveevery1 has dicussed before. i looked at H4 to confirm this trade.

I am sorry that this post ended up so long but please please please comment on my trades for the day.

i ended up +-0 more or less which is of course not satisfying. i would love to improve my trading and would be very thankful for critique.

I believe ALL traders here catch this trade, because it's very basic rules,(not rocket secience).

during Tokyo , i normally glance thro' all "J" pairs to catch a good set up and easy trade for 30-50 pips. this happened everyday, catching easy trade after Tokyo open.

Once identified, I enter base on PA. ( you can use TDI, but it will lagged one to two candle for entry).

On 4h looks like its trend reversing and on 60 min its confirmation that its selling or time to sell. Correct?

Quick 17 pips before LO.

Just thinking about the relevance of the EMA in this system and I was wondering if there is an indicator that will allow us to see the 200 & 800EMAs from the M15, H4 and Daily time frames all in one chart? This would save on having to flick through the TFs and would give us a much easier view of how price is reacting to it.

dont think there will be much movement being friday...im always lucky on fridays...i nailed +27 on Au and +8 on Gu

EJ 4 hrs sitting at 200 ema support. If break through 200ema, price will fall.
EJ 1 hr Bearish engulfing, now price retriving. Most probably it will reverse after hitting the daily pivot. TDI yellow line pointing down and green is crossing red. Bear is coming

When you say "4h looks like its trend reversing" = this is a sentence of what you see, but can you qualify the statement ? The obvious question will be "WHY 4HR LOOK LIKE ITS TREND REVERSING ?" WHY?. ( Do I sound like Arjun ???) Is it because break of R ? or TL, is it Bearish engulfing Candle ? Is it because you see "Deaisen" or is it "Three Inside Down ? etc.....

Next " on 60 min its confirmation that its selling or time to sell" Why you say 60m , why not look at 15m for better price for entry ? ( Because PA is still above 200EMA)

Your second statement says " on 60 min its confirmation " on 4hr TF ? Taht's not possible for LTF to confirm HTF for selling or buying. It's must be the other way round.

Please post a Chart, because by giving ststement, I just cannot see what you see.

I don't trade " Trade Price Action" . I set up my trade based on " PREVIOUS PRICE ACTION" (PPA history) AND "PURE PRICE ACTION" (PPA Current)

Hope , you will understand what i'm trying to say because to learn read chart, you need to put Chart up so we can see.


P/s I will put up my Chart after I see few people put Chart on EJ. Then you will see clearly, what YOU see and what I SEE.
