If there is any hint of easing today - it will rise as the Dollar falls is all I am saying. And Ben likes to kill off Dollars as much as possible. I am just telling you that today could be a wicked spike, as $50 isn't out of the question......be aware is all.

And there we have it. No QE3. How many times are we going to go through this cycle of hopium of QE3, no QE3. Over, and over, and over again.

Looks like a nice stop wipe went through. Price is rebounding back pretty quickly. I still haven't received any signal worth starting shorts on the Euro, and to be honest, the Daily looks more like supply consumption then anything. I guess we will see. it is still a friggin mess though with those darn gaps.

I think the daily close is what you need to pay attention to more than anything else as the algos are going to push and pull the markets. You didn't think it was human beings you were trading against did you?

I have decided that my trading strategy is to sell the Euro for the short-term. I figure this is going to be the outcome:

Greece will play the usual garbage football they are known for, clogging up the midfield and sitting back on their heels. An errant garbage goal gets scored in the second half for the Greeks, and the game ends 1-0 - with various Greek players feigning near death experiences in the last five minutes or so of the match.

In retaliation, and after a heap of abuse by Greek fans at the match, Angie Merkel finally tells Athens and the rest of Europe to "piss off" late Friday night proving that if they can't beat 'em - they'll starve 'em.

The new DM climbs to DM/USD 2.00 in a few weeks. We are all rich by shorting the EUR/USD which now trades at 0.45, and buying the DM.

Simple. Easy.

This Forex stuff isn't that hard.

After watching the first half, I think that Greece will be asked to leave the EU, based upon the embarrassment their football causes the rest of the continent.

The South American championships will invite a couple of teams to expand the competition. For example, the USA has been involved in it a couple of times over the years.

Perhaps the Europeans could do something similar. I mean, invite the Americans........at least we could lose with a bit more flair.

Read a story tonight that said one of the chants by Germans at the match was "You wouldn't even be here if it weren't for Angie." And the Greeks responded "We're never going to pay you back." (Found this on Drudge via a link to some paper...)

lol........

I am sure that scene is going to get Angie to go along with the "Eurobond" idea, or in other words: Germans backing everyone else up. The end of this coming week should be very interesting.

I have a slightly different scenario...

Germany pick up the ball and decide they ain't playing no more.

They leave the rest of Europe to it and go play in a new stadium(DM) leaving Europe to play amongst themselves.

IMO the only thing that will save the Euro is if Germany leaves. The world can't afford to let the Euro die and Greece can't afford to leave.

Why can't the rest of us afford to let the Euro die? In the US for example, we still have everything we need. Although it would certainly disrupt the economic system, we are (or could be) completely self-sufficient. So over here, we would be fine in the end.

I also think that Europe itself would be better off. If Spain was using the Peseta still, it wouldn't be 1.26 to the USD, and this would bring in more buyers of whatever it is that Spain exports. (Maybe the fact that I cannot think of it is the problem, no?)

Oh, Valencia oranges........forgot about those. Of course, we have them in Florida and California......
