The U.S. central bank will most likely ease monetary policy when it meets this week as recent data point to a worsening labor market and the crisis in Europe intensifies, Goldman Sachs said. “We would be quite surprised if we saw no easing this week,” Hatzius wrote in the report. “We believe that an extension of Operation Twist could well be insufficient on its own and could thus be followed by additional easing action before long,” Hatzius said. What is aparent.....the Market is pricing in a continuation of Twist, as the High Yielders are gaining a lot of ground..... so myself I would wait until the announcement is over by the Fed, it is hard to buy right at the bottom but it is also hard to sell right at the top, so I would wait until the dust settles and then make a decision....

Look at the Daily close eur/usd yesterday there is a lot and I mean a lot of uncertainty about that Pair, and right fully so.....
the Forex market has changed a lot over the last few years, it is Manipulated to a very large degree and the algos are taking over, as a Retail investor one has to make sure to trade only when the game is in your favour, if not stay out, or become a Gambler.....

If all the bank think that the fed will bring QE on the table, its simply indicate that the sentiment will be bearish before the fed meeting. Thus, since there will be a lot of volatility, you can make few pip by going short, then go long if the fed doesnt talk about QE

I will be very very very surprise if they introduce QE3 (we have been talking about QE3 since fking Christmas last year and no real fart as yet

) before US election matey. But they may introduce a light weight QE in the form of SDR.

IF you ever hear the word SDR, then bet heavy on long.

Have been checking some statistics and Alpari shows US unflation may rise this month after last month's fall. Applying some logic to this (if correct) then the middle path for the fed is to extend operation twist.

Applying some logic without this, it does seem more likely that any easing will come later in the year for a number of reasons (too long to do here)
and that Goldman's are irresponsible in their statement, about which they have no idea, other than they may want to go long themselves.

Anything is possible, just hard to envision the Fed easing when the ECB still thinks everything is just fine.
The easing should come from where the weakness is, that remains Europe.
But what back room deals are being made to support the Euro against reality is the realm of CB elites.
