well, that is called overtrading... out due to a gap (probably the bueyers are ovehelming the sellers here big time EDIT: nope, just wrong feed at my broker MT4)

Thank you for the indi. I have tested it and it is really helpfull. Especially when marking lower TF S/D like 5 or 15 min.

Buy limit worked well during the night so now at BE+1... TP at the upper supply

Thanks, FX... I got stopped out at BE+1, so good trade... it seems to me that the sellers are a bit stronger in this area

They might be but not for long, it’s a low momentum pullback (bullish flag into demand) before launching with strength “high momentum”, exactly like a rubber band...u need to pull it back...aim…and release to shoot.

Anyway this is how I see it and U.S. economic news releases in an hour >>> momentum…so lets see.

Hello All,

My first post here. Been following this thread for a while read a decent amount of it from the beginning. Very powerful the stuff on this thread.

Wanted to confirm something. Came across the SPF pattern. Although took this trade on different concepts but latr realized that it looked like the SPF pattern I read about. Am I reading it correctly?

Firt, welcome, and yess there is a lot of powerful stuff in this treadh, but if you wonna study PA take a look even at the Romancing the price (http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=288142) treadh [check the useful link on 1 page], Price is everything (http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=230888), and don't miss the acegazette site (http://www.acegazette.com/).
About SFP, i suggest you to read the Fail better treadh (http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=287794), all thre credits about sfp goes to him.
Aniway from what i am concerned [noob here] and from what i have learned about sfp, you have to use the pattern just like an indicator of a possible reverse, don't trade the pattern by hitself [imho this is valid for all the pattern out there], and be picky, you wonna see a decent swing on a fresh s/d zone. The author use this pattern only on the major not in the "crazy crosses".
Try to understand the pattern, "read" the pattern, why you wonna see a decent swing [the more the merrier], what's the meaning of the close above the precedent low...etc etc...try to read the price, pattern are just a graphical rapresentation of the price.
[and yes technicallyi t's a sfp on h1, not the best one - barely on the daily, no swing on the daily, and watch out the h1 trendline]

Closed at BE. Better safe than sorry... I dont like the red candles here going deeper and deeper into the demand zone. Also news coming up in a few minutes...
