A lot of hesitation today. I think NY will start us off big. Big picture euro seems like the obvious short, but all we can do is follow the supply and demand of the big guys.

Edit: I'd be watching that supply level on top of your sells carefully near the start of NY.

I think that the price will check that upper level today, but before that I hope it to go down back to 1.25 (lower band I drew on my charts) then go up. in any case, SL of both my positions is at BE now, so I have no risk...

Easy to see in hindsight, but on the 1 minute I was seeing this picture. I ended up passing on the trade because we had such hesitation, but still rather textbook quick scalp-like.

I was also watching that level, too, but on m5. I was thinking that the price would go down to the beginning of that move, as it is a rally-base-rally level. but it seems that you were right, good job verto...

Adding the strength of move to your analysis really does do wonders. I am by NO means an expert. Whenever I see something like this I dial down to the 1 minute, when the market conditions allow a ripe day trading opportunity.

Edit: 'Technically' we retest the x level on the down candle just to the left of the arrow. That also is another warning sign about the level, especially retested so quickly.

I like it when this happens. I had to leave my computer, and placed a limit order at 1.2558. I just came back and guess what? price had went up to 1.2560 and I found myself with about 20pips in profit with almost no drawdown. ok, I will be waiting for a level to fortify my position...
