Hi Sho,

I have 2 questions about your first trade:

1. Did you consider R:R before you entered the trade. I saw some support levels and the R:R was not really good?
2. After you entered the trade, price found some support at these level and bounce. Did you consider to close the trade.

Second one EUR/USD
1 stopped and 2 sell limit orders were not filled (just 0.5 pip from my entry. Was I too picky???) Really really frustrated

Don't know what's wrong with me . Just the beginning of trading month but I've got 9 losses, 6 BE and only 1 winner. 2 more lossess without winner I'll reach loss quota and have to stand out of the market until next month. OMG

My thoughts about your trades:
AU
I would not have tradet this setup because the almost pin is still in the impulsive move, this is not a pin at the end of a corrective. To risky for me.

EU
Nice setup. I would have taken the same trade and the same stop. Trading is just a probability game. Not every trade have to be a winner. But you have to trade every setup that fits your rules. Trust your method even if the last trade was a looser trust your method and take the next trade. At your chart it looks like after your loss you wanted to get a smaller SL at the next entry. If you did so because the first trade was a looser don’t do that again. Trade like a robot dont be scared. Trust your method and stick with your rules.

GU
No trade for me. Im trying to take only the best trades. Look at the 4 bars before your entry. There is no clear priceaction. Small bars with long tail to the up- and downside

Hi Siplicity, Welcome back!
I'm sorry to hear that you are on a losing streak. Good time to review your setups. Which is good, because it will make you a stronger trader.
AU trade you were stopped out at BE, so I didn't pay attention to that trade much. Although next entry point (in my opinion) was red OB or a little later Pin bar after clear impulsive wave.
EU and GU trades were no entry for me. Please see the charts with a little different view on your trades.

no 1. yes i did.and allways i do.as you probably know i allways say look at the higher time frame first. at that time 4H formed a IB also look at the 15 mins momentum bar.look at the the big red bars compared to the up moves.


no 2. as i was looking at the higher time frame setups( IB),i knew its gonna find some support at that level,its normal.price is gonna go where momentum is.

Hi Simplicity,im no expert trader like our Master Sho but you are looking for homeruns.I know you are trying to trade your plan but you must realize that we are scalping.You are looking for certainties when there is none.I know how you feel because i do have bad days too.If you are trading badly then cut your size till you get the winning attitude back.The key is the trader just like Sho said.

IMHO try to scalp for 5 to 6 pips then close the trade.Get your winning attitude back first.Remember we are scalping.Only with experience can we let the trade run.Stay strong!

Thanks for your advice. I am not looking for home run. Just looking for good R:R. My target is very simple. I try to take trade with R:R better than 1:1 and hope for 50% win/loss ratio. That's all. I don't want to scalp for 5 or 6 pips (around 1:1 R:R or less) even it's better than BE because I have not reached over 50% win/loss ratio.
I think I will not survive with R:R less than 1:1.
