no i'll enter on both but I need my entries @ sup & res and I also like to enter at range limits on various timeframes. I'll have an area in mind for action and if i get what i'm looking for i'll jump on in!

yes there is divergence all over the place.... it will always occour after a "trend pause push " combo as i call it. If the push is into good support or resistance that when I get interested.

Hi guys.. Regular bullish divergence on eu and gu.. Its a counter trend trade, but maybe draghi can do some favour for the bulls.. Anyone planning to take the trade?

Sup Pure Price, I'm trying to master the strategy that you're explaining in your trend, so as a mater of fact I made a summarize of some definition of divergence strategy plus some of your own post in a document and I taught that it can be useful for other follower of the trend. You can modified it or correct it as you want (My English is not so good but I copied most of the text in the document)

commodities devastated , bond yields hitting all time lows, stocks falling, risk off all over the place. Entering long here is just too risky for me and can't see any setup really (dollar index is just uber strong All rallies were used to sell into so I stay away or enter short only until we got a clear change of trend. good luck if you try it though

Now I see RSI(7) divergences on: AUDJPY, CHFJPY, EURJPY, EURUSD, GBPAUD.

with the USD being so strong lately, it is a good idea to stay with the trend. For us to trade with the trend, we look for hidden divergence at reactionary levels, and also wait for candle formations to tell us that the price will "probably" continue following the trend. Now is the time to look for that setup as we have hidden divergence almost on every Major pair and we have some bearish engulfing candles already formed. Bring up your charts , draw your lines, and wait for the price action to tell you that the trade is on .. good luck

Hey guys did you already used the indicator "TMA Slope"? It's an indicator that calculates the slope of triangulated moving average to determine where the trend is too strong to go against it. I think it can be useful what do you think?

I looked at the tma system and ran it next to the way I trade as they are/were similar. tma is a moving average with aveage true range banding. it looks good on backtesting as it repaints! having said that the current bar is always correct. you need the tmatrue which doesn't repaint to get a handle on how you could trade it, it's on ff somewhere. It wasn't an improvement on my system but each to there own.

Yes I did trade the extreme tma but what I wanted to brought is the tma slope can help to identify a strong trend that we don't want to trade against

This is my first post though I have been following this thread for many weeks.

Although the thread is no longer active, I just wanted to add my thanks to PurePrice, for taking the time to start the thread and to all the numerous persons who shared in tips, websites and advice that helped numerous newbies like myself.
