Nothing fancy here, parabolic SAR with in\out indicator (thanks to coders for that one) on 4hr time frame only for me... lets give a roll and see how it goes. Will post trade results and screens when I can.

I am only trading 1 lot for now until my account builds up using a 300 pip delta, exiting trades at 100 pips target SL can be high or low of set up bar or bar that triggers trade.

PSAR is only used for trailing stop if you want or can use price bar high and low, there is no loyalty to trend in this system anything goes.

One other thing I want to add, I have seen some of the biggest reversals happen against the so-called trend taking all the trend followers off guard I am all for exploiting this if it happens. Do not want to lock myself in one direction.

Just do search on here for inside bar mt4 or something like you should find it. Thanks.
Just barley missed a really sick trade on aussie, when i looked at it already started to move pre GDP now its gone like the wind!! fly me to the freaking moon. Timing these inside bars with economic releases makes for some real pip assassination.

A few neat little tricks you can do if you want once position gets triggered on 4hr, you can do the following -

1. Leave default stop in place in this system the stop is also a reverse.
2. Exit 1 lot at first or second profitable open, this is an old Larry Williams trick.
3. Go to BE at first or second profitable open. (by a certain number of plus pips say =>40 or 50)
4. Use Bar high low to trail stop only when previous high\low gets taken out during trend, or SAR dot reversal to exit.
5. When a new inside bar appears move that stop up or at the least go to BE or scale out if price isn't constantly making new high bar or low bars something is suspect protect your self in this case.
6. You can do add in on new inside patterns or just go all in at the start then scale out or exit out completely with multiple lots there is a lot you can do.

Just some crap for you guys to consider with managing trade once your triggered in.
Worst case trading will arise due to

1. Chop, be careful if the market goes choppy or doesnt make new highs and lows usually price will be contained inside a wide bar especially on the 4hr if this happens. Make sure you add the spread plus 1 pip at least when going long. You can do minus 1 pip for shorts. (do what you want)

(Also this can last a really long time on a 4hr chart go look the calendar see if news is pending next week or check another pair sometimes the big players are in waiting mode that means your food for the broker until the shit hits off, in this case your better off stroking off.)

2. A really sucky thing is price almost hitting your target then in the same bar it reverses all the way down with my rules you would be reversed, but then you could get stopped out again. Dont get back in right away wait for new inside bar to form this is called getting screwed or getting shitted on twice.

(The market has to EVENTUALLY play along to certain degree for this idea of making money to work out)

3. Try to time trades around important new releases then you can catch powerful momentum the HedgeSovereign Funds and institutional banks use. if the day lacks data watch out it could lead to chop and you can end up getting your ass handed to you on a silver platter.

I will add more to this list each time I get burned anew or if some other crazy thing pops into my head.

I am not sure when to enter , what In/OUT bar we are looking for, aftr the i/o bar enter at close or High/low was broken etc.....

you have the inside bar right the bar before the inside bar is the bar you trigger your long and short off, SL is opposite high or low, or high or low of bar that breaks out if normal stop is too big. I will try to show an example soon.

freaking aususd would have been a thing of beauty look where its trading now 100 pips NP. big miss on my part there will be more to come.
This is what you Dont want to happen with any system you would have to be really nibble with your position to avoid some nasty chop here....

Out of long position last night for plus 100 pips, BE on Euro.

Price has taken off over 200 pips on GBPJPY now from initial entry. looking at some new setups now. more data come out tonight out of Australia.
Just got triggered into a trade on Yen, green arrow represents the trigger bar the high and low plus spread you can round up or down if you want, the red is the inside bar, stops and reversal entries are opposite side of trigger bar. You can move SL up to bar low that takes out trigger bar high, you will get stopped out faster if it reverses your choice there more risk or less with more chance of trade going to target. Default target for me with 1 contract is 100 pips.

Any reason not having buy stop order as opposite to your sell order ? i thought when thre's IB then price can breakout above or below..Many thanks enoc2g..

yes I do have an opposite order off the trigger bar which is the bar before the inside bar.

I always have 2 orders sell and buy. The inside bar itself is not the trigger bar, its the prior bar high and low plus spread for high plus 1 rounded up. For the low its just minus 1, you can use what you like as far as that goes.
