I have a question for the MQL developers out there.
One of the things that I have noticed about MQL, is that when you attempt to streamline your code and block it all together into what you think is going to be a nice, tight little bundle of source, you end up having to pick the darn thing apart like a scavenger, if something goes wrong and the code does not run as expected. You then have a nightmare, trying to figure out what part of the code "block" is failing to work.
Ok, lesson learned on that one - break up the code into small bite size pieces (next time) so that trouble-shooting it is a bit easier.
Question:
How do you use either Print(), or Comment() while running the back-tester, to actually the values being produced by your indicator during back-testing?
I've got some code that looks similar to this:
Essentially: If (M1 Close >= ((A+B) + (C+D)) / 2); return(true)
I'd like to see its output in the Tester Journal during back-testing. How do you print, or comment this to the Tester Journal?
Thanks,
iD

I've got some code that looks similar to this:
QuoteDislikediClose(Symbol(),PERIOD_M1,0)>=((iLow(Symbol(),PERIOD_H1,0)+iCustom(Symbol(),PERIOD_H1,"iCustom_Indicator-4",3,1))+(iHigh(Symbol(),PERIOD_H1,0))-(iCustom(Symbol(),PERIOD_H1,"iCustom_Indicator_5",3,1)))/2
Essentially: If (M1 Close >= ((A+B) + (C+D)) / 2); return(true)
