What do you guys think about using the combo of Multicharts with Interactive Brokers for trading EUR/USD exclusively?

My biggest issue is with the implementation, you have to run TWS in the background and run a plug-in to communicate with MultiCharts...

More hops, more points of failure..etc.. etc..

Ideally, you'd want an API level connection direct to IB... most brokers use MultiCharts through FIX for instance.

My understanding is that multicharts is using the IB API. At least thats what they show in the video?
