This is what got me into those aussie trades yesterday, this being the trend trade on a pitchfork at the same place of those scalps. I let it run, and once it broker the median I place and kept moving my TP along the bottom line following price and it just got hit. I've not been trading much today and missed a boatload of great entries so thought I'd give some feedback on how I decided to get in yesterday around that zone instead.
Something you see a lot is a zoom through a level, it comes down then retests a high before the zoom high (marked as two lines on top). I also drew a fork on it and voila it gave me a nice precise zone in price and time to look for that entry.
I find doing seperate entries for scalp and trend/position trades lets me play both side without doing the usual "damn I should have let it run" or "damn I should have grabbed the profit" - do both ;p

I would have posted this earlier but my browser stopped functioning. I held on to 2 small trades from this am and shorted again at 1.0300, 1.0302 and 1.0308. I have closed all trades but one. Up 2% today.

Good to see folks sharing in this thread. Together we will all realize green pips.
I have been looking at EUR:JPY too. I have stayed away from GBP, the yen crosses and the CHF because they are manipulated. Got burned a couple of times. However, the EUR:JPY may be getting ripe. Even if BOJ intervenes, will likely be on the right side of the trade. Of course, NFP Friday (geesh). I prefer to be flat during NFP. If not, I usually remove my stops and wait for the noise to pass. I don't recommend doing this unless you are sure of your trade and have enough in your account to ride it out.
