Just hit my TP below the RN for a total of 29 pips. It's not quite what today should have been, but I'm happy with 29!

first: ucad long; first entry not too smart; I took it when price crossed 10ema; mistake; taking a trade 4 candles after the tdi cross; and below the yellow line is adding more risk . Next yellow line is the correct entry and my sl=20 never hit so I ended up closing +27 at brown trendline a little below it at1.094; nice finish price went up to 00.

second; textbook eu short bounce off 200ema; could have entered sooner but waited on 10ema cross to enter using tdi setup instead. It paid 50 pips to tp at the consolidation to the left.

third: risky trade when price touched past cadetblue horizontal line from day chart just below RN several times then crossed 10ema but not the 200ema and tdi signalled but yellow line slightly sloped upward. Entry at yellow vertical line. Closed at b/e. Good eye to get out as it stayed above 200e. Lesson seen: Don't enter at 200e; wait till it breaks out and comes back before lookiing for a trade.

Comments welcome and I hope this helps someone find the pips they deserve.

Dear loveevery1: You suggested in previous post to trade ucad during NY session and I tried it and liked it...removing Gu so can watch 3 pairs. If I keep an eye on ucad for a while I begin to see what its going to do. It usually does it fast too with perfect tdi setup.

Something else I keep an eye on to choose which pair to trade and how long to hold a trade...it is 4 pairs on a 2nd monitor along with gold, oil, and S&P futures. The pairs are Aud/Cad, Eur/Nzd, Chf/Jpy and Gbp/Usd. I use the standard template that is on my trading chart set to 15m which is my trading TF.

When Aud is stronger than Cad which pair do you think I tend to favor? It helps.

You have helped me in simple terms I can appreciate. Thank you for that. It is making a huge impact on my confidence. It is growiing!

Practicing going back over charts helps alot too to realize where the best place to enter and exit is.

I agree with you that I won't need so many pips once I get my lot size up there where it needs to be.

Hi Steve

The second trade on the cad was a perfect set up, the first as you said was risky would of waited till price had retraced a bit towards the 10 m/a before taking the trade! it paid off on the second trade as you have shown, here is a picture to show you what i mean.

You'll find the spread pretty steep but I call that entrance fee paid to the brokers, when trending perfectly you can hold on for upwards of 100 pips and give the broker from 6-14 pips.

GBPNZD DID 200 PIPS TWICE THIS WEEK THAT IS DOUBLE Loveevery1's monthly target, mine is 600 pips so when I can tame that pair I may just need 2 trades of 75pips a week to meet my monthly target.

Too bad, I'm only taking 2 OPs with small profits.

Yeah the greed that wiped 75% of my account on the day I went live (6th Sept 2011 remember the SNB intervention I was too sure the Euro would continue to fall that I refused to set a SL when my multiple trades were going against me)

This brotherhood is sharpening my saw and I'm refining my act,as for the"thing" you will still share I'm patiently waiting although at the beginning of the thread I wanted to scream "come out with it man don't dangle carrots on us here" but I'm glad I did the back test and it's yielding so take your sweet time and allow as many more that will still join to assimilate the basics before hitting us with the A level stuff.

a Big thanks to LoveE and other mentors. Having burnt my accounts for the last few months, I finally gathered my strength and revisited the live account with small lot sizes and man it worked. I have attached today trades.

Assange, Pat Chiko, Intrepidpips, Steve, Tor - appreciate the time and effort you have dedicated to train us novices.

Hi,

I have attached the Trix indicator which is in the window at the bottom of my screen. It is not related to the LE1 system, but I do use it to assist me in some of my CT entries on the M15 chart. Just be aware, like any indicator, if you blindly follow it, you will get burnt (As I did!). My analysis now comes from PA and the indicator just helps me time my entry.

I use it in a highly aggressive manner, which is why PA is so important. For me, I wait for the fast trix (Thin line) to close red for a short and green for a long. I do believe the indicator wasn't intended to be used in this fashion, but it just so happens that it works well with the way I see PA.

Hello steve,....I remember now...i have created a profile for each session...but i no longer use them.keep a fixed percentage of RISK...keep aiming for it.when the target is reached.dont say bye to anyone and just shut down your computer.lol.

Make this as a habit and in few months...it will be in your blood.then NO WORRIES
