Am I glad I closed my long position on Friday
I manage to catch the ride down this morning. My target is 1.279 before a potential move back up. If this breaks we have 1.26 and 1.20...

Cable is example of RANGE today. All day in 30 pips - 6050 / 6080.
Scalped one short, but only 6.6 pips.

All other instruments that I trade (EU, AU, Gold) were all short on pullback.

I was short on EU from 2880, but closed very badly, for just a small gain.

Just now took 40 pips on Gold, for 0.5%, total not bad for today, +1.15%.
5 scalps, only 1 bad. Not happy about closings, will work on that, only this Gold scalp was OK.

30 pips is ok as long as it gives 1 % + gain. As for cable, range play is expected but also we can expect some BO ( breakout) when 608o gets broken. 6103 should b lvl to the upside where cable should stop for consolidation. That means 6050 should stay firm.

Offcourse, couple opportunities to go short/long with SL of 10/15 pips max, and banking 15-20-25 pips. That is nice. Do that 3 times in a row, and u dont need to bother with trend.

IMO, 6050 could also break, if dolar becames "mighty" greenback again... . GBP much stronger then EUR and AUD atm.

Here is H4 of US30 (Dow CFD).
There was times that Dow highy correlated with EUR and AUD. Now - not so much, but interesting place where the price is now. UP trend on larger TF, like Daily/weekly. Range on H4 - 600 points. Correlation is not firm like before, but IMO, if this puppy goes bellow 12700 without trying to go up, maybe it is not realistic to expect big pullback on EUR also?
So far, only shallow PBs were seen on EUR.

h4 should be viewed late today or tomorrow. Usually Mondays are rangeplays, today has been really exception.

Hello guys,

MArket is in retracement mode now. EU has the resistance around 2880 and we can start looking for short opportunities there or around 2950 which is also weekly PP.

Trend is down so sell on PBs is advised.

I'd like to see further down during London session, may be 1.278 (would be a nice level to go long as it is the LTL on daily and we are due for a retracement)? Upside should be limited to 1.295 now, I have put pending order short there.

Yes, those are excellent levels for long/short respectively. 2950 would b most ideal.

Hopefully we'll see 1.295
looking at the bars on Euro this morning, the market is desperate for any good news to cover short and reload higher. Would be nice to go below 1.28 first

Shorts are valid even below 2865. Interim resistance at 2865 where SL should be put.
