It seems lately, I've been more interested in making indicators than trading itself. It's been a week since I last traded and this journal area is still empty. I'll hope to get back on it soon. Anyways, I wouldn't mind if some people help test out my new indicator using Williams %R. I haven't personally back or forward tested this yet.
Go Long on Solid Green Up Arrow; Close the position on Hollow Green Down Arrow.
Go Short on Solid Red Down Arrow; Close the position on Hollow Red Up Arrow.
I haven't back or forward tested this yet.
This works best with a volatility indicator like the BBands; meaning, don't take a signal if its has a narrow channel.

You can use this in conjunction with your own current system. or with my squeeze system which is outlined on my blog. But to be specific with your question.
Timeframes: any
Other indicators: A volatility indicator. It's used to filter out many of the signals given on a sideways day.

Hey guys, I am looking into the wpr indacater. I have changed the peroid from 14 to 55. And seem to be getting good signals on the 1 and 4 hr charts. The 14 peroid was giving way too many false signals.
I would like to get with you on an indacater I have an idea for but am not programmer savy. Message me if your interested.
The minimum indicators needed are squeeze, CCI, and MACD.
For the squeeze, use the defaults from the second posting of the squeeze indicator.
CCI: 50 Period with level lines drawn at -100,100.
Default MACD
Entry Signal: Squeeze turns from red to green.
Position signal: If CCI line crosses down past -100, go short. If CCI line crosses up past 100, go long. This can happen before or after an entry signal is given. When the squeeze turns green. Check the CCI, if it hasn't given you a positin signal yet, check to see what general direction its heading, and check back in a few hours or so. But do not assume that it will cross, wait for it.
