Dear TradeStation Forex Customer,
As indicated in Interpretive Notice 9064 to NFA Compliance Rule 2-36, Forex Dealer Members (FDMs) must have written procedures in place regarding the handling of price changes, including information on the application of any slippage parameters and re-quoting practices.
TradeStation Forex, Inc. (“TradeStation Forex”) utilizes a Non-Dealing Desk Execution model of trade execution and straight-through-processing (“STP”) of all trades entered on the TradeStation
platform. Execution of each order is limited to rates and liquidity provided by our external counterparties (“liquidity providers”) which make markets for the specific currency pairs being traded.Using STP, TradeStation Forex passes these rates directly to its clients with a fixed mark-up per currency pair, according to each order’s size, type, and available rates. TradeStation Forex is not a market maker in any of the currency pairs it offers. As such, TradeStation Forex relies on its liquidity providers for currency exchange pricing.
RE-QUOTING
Re-quoting is the practice of providing a secondary quote to a client after an order has been submitted for execution. If the rate presented at the time of order entry has changed by the time the order reaches the order execution network, the order will be filled at the next available rate. TradeStation Forex does not re-quote customer orders.

No commissions. The smallest account size is mini-lots, or 10,000 units. No micro-lot account.

I have used TradeStation broker/platform since March 2006 for live equities/options, opened live forex account in November 2010, watched my account transfer/migration from Gain Capital to new entity TFI in April 2011, and so far I'm very pleased with their services. No commissions, no platform fees for forex-only account, low spreads, no re-quotes, and very stable platform. The last serious data disruption/outage was in Feb 2011 and that was due to Gain Capital, and now only minor disconnections/re-connects.
My original questions have been answered and I realized that this thread might turn into a promotion for TradeStation Forex which wasn't my intention. If you are currently using MT4 and have scripts/indicators written for MT4, then TradeStation is not for you because it's a standalone proprietary platform with own EasyLanguage script for writing custom indicators. It may not be convenient or feasible for some people to learn a completely new platform and order entry tools, or to re-write your favorite MT4 indicators using EasyLanguage. Also, if you enjoyed tracking your trades and trading statistics using MyFXBook, Currensee, OpenTrader, or even ForexFactory's own Trade Explorer feature, you may be disappointed that TradeStation is not supported by all these services.

Im just about to get my Trading account with Tradestation approved, sent the papers 2 days ago from Europe, Im really looking forward to use the platform, there is no fees for a Fx account from what I can understand, everything is free, platform, no commision, nice spreads, no monthly subscriptions, personally I think the platform is one of the best one avalible, I think it's a no brainer bargain deal

The x-axis and y-axis are also intuitive, compared to MT4. TradeStation uses New York Eastern Time so the times in first example are from 1:30amET to 10:00amET, instantly readable. The price axis is automatically scaled but you can set to any fixed intervals. MT4 time and price axis just don't make sense.

In my view, the auto-marker feature (blue triangle for Long entry, red triangle for Short entry, white triangle for exit) is the best learning tool for traders. You can see from the markers and dotted lines how you have traded the chart and learn from your own mistakes. This was a long trade from Friday's NFP and the dotted lines traced the trades. MT4 can also show these markers and dotted lines but you have to drag from trade account history onto charts.
