Price normally will stall at the very least at big numbers so it is prudent to protect yourself there. By moving to BE or locking in a few pips.

Most know I am all about adding small gains to make my weekly goal. But if your a long distance trader, protection maybe best.

I have noted that supply is noted as spinning top for 01/20, and 01/24 and demand is noted as spinning top for 03/01. Just wanted to make sure I am getting this right. Enclosed an attachment of the chart

Hi Ken, ive been following this thread for quite some tym now and i must say i like how you explain stuff, You do have a way of demystifying it all, thanks for taking tym to share ur knowledge wiv us.. this days, its so hard to separate the good info from the junk we see online. ive come to realise that virtualy all wat the textbooks teach us regarding trading are not totally correct and are a complete mis-representation of the market. no wonder over 90% of those who venture into the forex market end up broke. i luv ur contrarian approach, it makes alot of sense. Looks like NFP was a non event so far

I closed a e/u short before the news, I had entered last night at 11 eastern after work for 30 .. then scalped 10 long after news . not this trading idea though.. Might should have held it , but it stinks to have a loser on a Friday. like to end on a high.

I hate I can't remember who's thread I took this from , as I like to give credit where due.

just trying to make 1 trade a day R/R 3-1 or so between S/D but my stop loss gets hit too many times.I trade futures so i just go through the currencies to find the best set ups.I like more action than that,but the bottom line is to make money.Thanks

3:1 RR with 1 trade a day.

Break even is 25% win rate (but only if your not compounding). So that means for every 3 trades stopped, 1 full win will allow you to continue to trade over time. So to be profitable an overall win rate of more than 25% on 3:1 is needed.

You said you like more action but the bottom line is to make money. What is it about more action that appeals to you and why do you think it's unprofitable?

Just want to say a big thank you to Ken and everyone for the great thread
I've been struggling with S/D in the past and have given it up a few times. Last month I actually achieved 140% gain with another method and I thought I finally got the game. Sadly, this month using the same method I hit SL after SL till im at a 70% drawdown. Perhaps I was lucky previously. So I decided to revisit S/D again.

I think for the first time in my life I have caught a right supply zone according to the 4H (I've attached the charts) What do you think of it?

Btw, how should I manage my exits? In the 30m chart I have drawn my TP lines. Are they good exits?

Good Looking, may I ask whether do you take partial profits or do you just move your stops and let it hit SL or TP full lots? I'm kind of torn between the two and can't make up my mind. Sucks to give back everything but sometimes i wonder, since I dont scale out of my position when it goes against me, why do I diminish my reward when it goes in the right direction? What do you guys think?
