What part of the phrase, "high probability", do you not get, high probability chart patterns are just that. They allow you to calculate the statistical edge, your job is to work out the good from the bad, many, many people have done it.

Get over yourself and open your eyes.

Good trading to everyone that has the sense to believe simple is best and that it can be done.

Going by what he posts that seems like an impossible, not to mention thankless, task! Exactly. To allow his opinions and approach to go uncommented on might give a novice reader the impression that his way really is the way to go. I'd like to think anyone considering trading as a full time profession would have enough common sense to spot the obvious errors (ie adding to losers, not adding to profitable positions, bigger losses than gains, etc etc etc) but then unfortunately that doesn't always seem to be the case, this business is open to anyone who wanders in off the street with a few bucks in their pocket!

To add a little to this... if your strategy cannot achieve or sustain a positive expectancy with R:R of 1:1, then it won't with R:R greater than 1:1.

After a quick look at your posts your not profitable so it should read like this :-


I believe / want to believe the standard method is profitable cause that's how I'm trying but as yet failing to trade, but I will defend the standard method because my ego doesn't want me to be wrong and many others who aren't profitable really themselves claim it works,

I thought you are still dealing with peanuts? 100 to 400$. Not sure where that shows that you are profitable.
You might have a lucky streak, but calling yourself profitable with such a small account is really not suitable.

If you can bring those 400$ up to maybe 40.000$ then you can call yourself a profitable trader, but until then you are more likely to be a loser in the long-term. (especially with your approach)

From 400 to 40.000 no matter have many decimal places you put in, would be losing and not profitable

Do you realise how long it'll take to turn $400 into $40,000 years unfortunately.

My concept is proven, time to scale up, can I trade it with more $$$'s at risk is the question, answer should be yes, but I'll add money slowly to my account to ease into it.
