Thanks julie.Ignored
Dislikedgbpusd Reg div vs hidden - which will win out?
I just got stopped out on my reg div trade from last night. Took my stop then reversed, praps it was a little too close to R1 ggrrrr.
Anyway here is a chart of this weeks pound showing all the divergences i could see. hidden divergence with the trend is the clear winner.

JulieIgnored

DislikedDid you catch it? Did anyone else?
Lessons i learnt from this trade -
1. i moved my stop closer during the day as it seemed "safe" to do so. My original stop would not have been hit.
2. looking at the trendline the upper wicks make for divergence, might be good idea to keep stop above that while it takes its time to decide. Divergence seems to take a few candles to play out.
3. place entry order when divergence spotted otherwise you can blink and miss 50 pips (apparently)Ignored
