I am at Dukascopy me too, but I don't have the required capital for trade for living.

A long, interesting -for me - thread is here. http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=342242. Some of tham made good advice and helped me. Interesting, but I have discovered the same holy grail as you: TP 5-30 Pip -depends how is moving the price- , better no SL, but keep the Risk under logical limits and choose better the moments when to open the positions.

I don't know where to look at total pips made / month, although I have live account.

Daily I do a little math: taking my balance(usually positions are closed at the morning) and I am calculating how much money do I need to make for 1%-2%.

From there I know how much pip do I need for with 8% leverage, 16% and 24% leverage.

It seems the Holly Grail it is: catch 10-15 pip with 24% leverage.
No stress for the rest of the day: I am with closed position and with +1 or +2% of my initial capital.

Some math:
- doing +1% / day it is: +24.472% / month ! (22 th working day)
- doing +2% /day it is: +54.598% / month ! (22 th working day)

- with daily +1% need 232 day to 10x the account! (11 th month)
- with daily +2% need 116 day to 10x the account! ( 6 th month)

-but if you trade for living, than you will withdraw some money monthly.

It is not the Holy Grail! It is a strategy that is purely mathematical. Requires a lot of capital and work.

- and I have a 9.4 PIP at midnight somewhere, but at closed positions I see 4, anyhow it is: 9.4 + 14.9 + 17.1 + 9.6 PIP and made: + 4,93% of balance.
